They are vertebrates because they have a skeleton or a backbone

WHY ARE THEY VERTEBRATES ?

HOW ARE THEY BORN? They are oviparous because they hatch

from eggs.

WHAT CAN THEY EAT? Most of them are carnivores and they can

eat invertebrates and small vertebrates

HOW DO THEY BREATHE? Baby amphibians breathe with

gills .Adults use their lungs and skin

WHAT CAN THEY HAVE? They can have four legs a short tail and they all have moist skin.

WHAT IS METAMORPHOSIS? Metamorphosis means to change completely

from baby amphibians to adult amphibians

NAMES OF AMPHIBIANS: Froags , toads , salamander , newts

and tadpoles are amphibians.
