Kingston’s BT-Cerner back-office transition

and the Cerner 2015 code-upgrade. With

significant back and front end changes

under both work streams, getting the right

support at the right time was crucial and

this is what ReThink excelled at.

We were appointed to deliver contract Test

Analysts to run through more than 500 test

scripts, across all areas of the Trust’s acute

information systems with specific attention

to the Cerner Millennium & CRS.

The candidates had to be able to

demonstrate previous experience testing a

number of different Cerner Modules.

The Approach

ReThink have vast expertise in this highly

specialised marketplace and so were able

to adopt a fully outsourced consultative

approach to fill these placements.

We were able to source relevant

candidates from our existing network, who

had delivered on both a BT-Cerner

migration, and who were also familiar with

the Cerner 2015 code.

The Results

ReThink delivered four contractors quickly

and efficiently into the organisation who

were all able to help with both their

back-office transition, and their 2015

Cerner Millennium code upgrade.

The client only needed to make two

phone calls with the consultant, Alex,

before the appropriate resource was on

site.

The fastidious approach of the Test

Analysts that were outsourced by ReThink

ensured minimal downtime occurred

when the Trust went live.

ReThink also negotiated contract

extensions for the test resource that

satisfied both the contractors and the

client since the contractors went the extra

mile over the go-live weekend and put in

6 day weeks when it necessary.
