Adon olam, asher malakhB’terem kol y’tzir niv’ra

Eternal Master, who reigned supremeBefore all of creation was drawn

L’et na’asah v’heftso kolAzai melekh sh’mo nik’ra

When all was finished according to His willHe was acknowledged as King

ל כ בח(פצו נעשה לעתנקרא שמו מ(ל(ך אזי

V’acharey kikh’lot hakolL’vado yim’lokh nora

And when all shall endIn majesty He still shall reign

ל הכ כלות כ ואחרינורא ימלוך ו לבד

V’hu hayah v’hu hovehV’hu yih’yeh b’tif’arah

And He was, and He isAnd He will be, in glory

והוא היה והוא הוה והוא יהיה בתפארה

V’hu echad v’ein sheniyL’ham’shiylo l’hach’biyrah

And He is only one, there is no secondTo compare or allied to Him

שני ואין א(חד א והולהחבירה להמשילו

B’liy reshiyt b’liy tach’liytV’lo ha’oz v’hamis’rah

Without beginning, without endAnd to Him is the power and sovereignty

תכלית בלי ראשית בליוהמשרה העז ולו

V’hu Eli v’chay goaliV’tsur chev’liy b’et tsarah

He is my El, my living redeemerRock of my rope in time of trouble

ואלי ג וחי אלי א והו ב ח(בלי ר צרה יוםוצו

V’hu nisiy umanos liM’nat kosiy b’yom ek’ra

He is my banner and refugeFilling my cup the day I cry

והוא נסי ומנוס לימנת כוסי ביום אקרא

B’yado af’kid ruchiB’et iyshan v’a’irah

Into His hand I commit my spiritWhen I sleep, and awake

בידו אפקיד רוחין ואעירה בעת איש!

V’im ruchiy g’viyatiyAdonai li v’lo iyrah

Even if my spirit leaves my bodyYahuwah is with me, I shall not fear

ועם רוחי גויתיאדני לי ולא אירא
