B’terem kol y’tzir niv’ra Before all of creation was drawn

L’et na’asah v’hef’tso kol When all was finished according to His will

Azai melekh sh’mo nik’ra He was acknowledged as King

אדון עולם אשר מל בטרם כל יציר נברא

לעת נעשה בחפצו כל אזי מל שמו נקרא

V’acharey kikh’lot hakol And when all shall end

L’vado yim’lokh nora In majesty He still shall reign

V’hu hayah v’hu hoveh And He was, and He is

V’hu yih’yeh b’tif’arah And He will be, in glory

ואחרי ככלות הכל לבדו ימלו נורא

והוא היה והוא הוה והוא יהיה בתפארה

V’hu echad v’ein sheniy And He is only one, there is no second

L’ham’shiylo l’hach’biyrah To compare or allied to Him

B’liy reshiyt b’liy tach’liyt Without beginning, without end

V’lo ha’oz v’hamis’rah And to Him is the power and sovereignty

והוא אחד ואין שני להמשילו להחבירה

בלי ראשית בלי תכלית ולו העז והמשרה

V’hu Eli v’chay goali He is my El, my living redeemer

V’tsur chev’liy b’et tsarah Rock of my rope in time of trouble

V’hu nisiy umanos li He is my banner and refuge

M’nat kosiy b’yom ek’ra Filling my cup the day I cry

והוא אלי וח י גואלי וצור חבלי ביום צרה

והוא נסי ומנוס לי מנת כוסי ביום אקרא

B’yado af’kid ruchi Into His hand I commit my spirit B’et iyshan v’a’irah When I sleep, and awake

V’im ruchiy g’viyatiy Even if my spirit leaves my body

Adonai li v’lo iyrah Yahuwah is with me, I shall not fear
