Abu HanifaHis full name is No'maan Ibn Thaabit. He was born in 80 A.H in Kufa. He was a Taabi'i and had the privilege of seeing Anas Bin Maalik . He was later inspired by Imaam Sha'bi to devote his time to seeking Islamic Knowledge. He later moved to Basrah, there after returning back to Kufa where he adopted the company of Shiekh Hammad and studied Fiqh from him for 10 Years. After Shiekh Hammad passed away in 120 A.H the public appointed him as a teacher of Fiqh in Jam'i Kufa. In the latter part of his life he was imprisoned for declining the post of Chief Justice which was offered to him by Mansoor. After 10 to 11 days the Imaam passed away due to poisoning. This was in 150 A.H.Abu YusufHis full name is Ya'qub Bin Ibrahim Al Ansari better known as Imaam Abu Yusuf . He was born in 113 A.H. and lived in Kufa and Baghdad. He studied under Imaam Abu Hanifa and became a star student of his. He also helped to develop the Hanafi Fiqh. He was then appointed as Qadhi in Baghdad by Haroon ar Rasheed and was also made the Grand Qadhi later on which was also the first time this title was given to anyone in Islamic History. Some of his famous works are Kitab al-Kharaj and Usool ul Fiqh among others. The Sheikh held this position until he passed away in 192 A.H in Baghdad.

MuhammadHe was born in Wasit 132 A.H. Thereafter his family settled in Kufa. He started studying Fiqh at the age of 14 by Imaam Abu Hanifa for 4 years. Later on he studied under scholastic giants such as Imaam Abu Yusuf , Imaam Maalik and Imaam Abdullah Bin Mubarak to mention a few. He was also a close friend of Imaam Shfii . He compiled 10,701,000 Masaail from the Quran and Ahadith. Among his famous works are Jami' us Sagheer and Ziyadaat to mention a few. He passed away 189 A.H at the age of 57.
