Read the following passage then answer the questions below:

Oil began to form millions of years ago .This process started with tiny plants and animals

that lived in the earth's oceans. When they died ,they sank to the bottom of the sea and rotted.

Then they were covered by rocks ,which sometimes pushed them deep into the earth, hydrogen

and carbon came together and made hydrocarbons. Oil can be found under the earth's surface but

it is not easy to find so ,modern technology must be used. For example ,information from

satellites pictures helps to make geological maps .Drill and machines are used to extract it.

The places where oil may be found include deep under the sea, under the desert or under the

ice or snow. Special drills must go underground and extract samples of the earth from there. If

there are oil and gas ,the drills bring them up ,too. When crude oil and gas come from the ground

,they are mixed with many other substances. Before the oil can be used, unwanted substances

must be removed at a refinery .Oil products are of several kinds like : petrol ,gas , gasoline

,plastic ,furniture and building materials. Oil has become a part of our daily life .

Children usually learn their first language from their parents and the people around them. Many babies can say about three words before they are one year old. First, they listen to the sounds of the language. People ask babies questions before they can answer them. ‘’are you hungry? People are different in the way they celebrate their occasions. This difference can be clear

because of many reasons like language, religion; nationalities and habits. People celebrate for

My car was stolen last week. I had left it in one of the side-streets for half an hour, but when I

returned, it was gone. I was surprised that it had been taken because there were many

modern-model cars in the street. I was foolish to leave the door unlocked. I reported the

incident to the police. It was the first time I had ever entered a police station, so I felt very

nervous. The officer on duty asked me to write down a description of the lost car to help the

police catch the thief. I mentioned that it was a large 1990 Ford, number 44837, Hawally. It was

in good condition except there was a lot of play in the steering wheel. In fact, I was in my way

to the garage to have the steering wheel adjusted when the car was stolen. I was certain that

the owner; if you want to kill yourself with this steering wheel, go ahead; I’ve got better things

body does things we don’t ask it to do. Sneezing, coughing, blinking and even yawning are

examples of involuntary movements ( إرادح ال ) .What makes our body do these things? These

involuntary actions are a response to a stimuli( زافس) . Believe it or not, when we do these things,

our body is trying to protect itself. If an irritant such as pollen ( انهماذ زثىب ) from plants gets

into our nose or nasal passages, our body sneezes to get it out. If we breathe in dust, our body

coughs to remove it from our lungs. We blink, in order to keep our eyes clean and moist and to

prevent dust and other objects from settling on them. What tells our body to take care of us

the way it does? These involuntary movements occur because our brain is giving out signals.
