The identity card has a 16kb microprocessor
chip that will contain all the information and
will be secured against card tampering and
cloning.
The UIDAI will get all this data from National
Population Register, which will be created to
maintain the database collected by census.

Mission
To design biometrics system that enables India
to achieve uniqueness in the national registry.
The endeavour of designing such a system isan ongoing quest to innovate biometrics
technology appropriate for the Indian
conditions.

Goals
The mission of UBCC can be achieved through
the following distinct goals:
Specifications: UBCC will specify the initialbiometrics system and will enhance the
features at regular intervals to insert new
technologies and best practices.

Economic
the effect of the card economically would be that nowthe person would have to spend less on the accruingthe other documentation (that are required for anyofficial work) and this is a very simple process as
explained earlier in the report. The people in thevillage are always kept aloof the banks because theydont have adequate documentation for availing thebank facilities and for these documentations they haveto involve an external person but after the issue of this
card they can all avail facility by just one card. After thiscard this would also help to reduce the urban ruraldivide as now the rural people can have access to allthe facilities. The farmer can now easily take a loan

Spatial
the problem in India here is the constantmigration of people from other countries. Afterthe robust system being implemented this can toa great extent solve this issue as there are a lot oflevel of checks before the card is issued to thecitizen. This card can help to an extent know thepopulation of the country and after knowing theGovernment can take the necessary decision as
to which policy to implement and which to stoplooking at the type and the need of thepopulation.

Social
since the card has a very easy process when itcomes to owning one. This card can reduce thedifferentiation that is caused by one able toaccess some facility as that person had thecomplete documentation. This is one way ofputting all on the same platform. This card canhelp the Government to know who is purchasingwhich land and after this card is implemented it
would be mandatory for an individual to producethe card so as to complete the documentation, this would help in knowing the flow of blackmoney. Get benefits to the beneficiary.

Political
the effect of this on the political is that during
the time of election there one can know the
exact number of votes to be casted by an
individual and there is no chance of fraud in
the whole process.
