2. Long Term deformation
– Floor Subsidence
Accelerator Building Area
The shape of the subsidence data is very similar
to that of embankment.
Recent subsidence 0.7mm/year @ Z= 200m Light Source Building Area
Recent subsidence is small.

In this summer, BL2 with 18 undulators
and 2nd linac were installed.
Subsidence depends on the thickness of embankment layer, not pile length. Observed subsidence for 5 years is 7.4 mm. The value is with in the prediction.
3. Border part between these buildings
1. Accelerator Building : Pile foundation
Summary
2. Light Source Building : Replacement with crusher stone
Crusher stone with cement is better than that without cement. Observed subsidence for 5 years is 1 mm. The value is with in the prediction.
Seasoning vertical deformation 0.8 mm is observed in this part. In summer season, this part is pushed from both building, and raises. Careful design is needed for such part. (Sliding mechanism)
