One afternoon, after school, Jane, John and Peter decided to go to the mall beside their house. When they reached the mall, Jane suddenly remembered that tomorrow is Teachers Day! So, she told her idea about the mug she wanted to buy at the gift shop. When they arrived at the gift shop, they saw a warning sign. The sign wrote” Once broken considered sold,” They read it and ignored it.

Soon, they found a beautiful mug. Jane was holding it. Without thinking, Peter snatched the mug from Jane‘s hands and played with it. Jane was shocked and told Peter to inform her next time. Peter nodded his head and continued playing with it. Without watching his steps, Peter tripped over John's leg and dropped mug. Peter shivered in fright when he saw the shattered glass pieces on the floor. The shop assistant heard the loud commotion and hurriedly ran across the shop and saw glass on the floor. Her face turned red with fury. The shop assistant told them to pay for the mug. The three of them shared the cost. Peter regretted his actions. The shop assistant was not angry with them anymore, because they apologised profusely and paid for the broken mug. They promised that they would not be so careless in the future.

One morning, Jane was doing her homework at home when her mother came back holding a box. Jane’s mother called her and showed her what was in the box. It was a watch. It was not like any watch, it was an apple watch. She screamed in excitement as it was an early birthday gift to her from her mother, and it was a birthday gift she had been wishing for. The next day, Jane showed her watch to her best friends Sam and Mary. They were so happy for her but her other classmates thought she was a show off. During recess, Jane and her friends were having lunch in the canteen. When they were about to return the plates and bowls, Jane realised that her watch was missing! Jane was very worried and started searching with her friends at the areas where they went to.

When she could not find her watch, she was so upset that she burst into tears. In the end, Sam and Mary found her watch and she breathed a sigh of relief. Jane was very grateful that Sam and Mary returned her watch and kept thanking them. Jane promised herself that she will not be so careless again.

“Look what I brought, said mum .Jane`s mother had gone to the mall to buy some

accessories. When Jane`s mother came home, she surprised Jane with an Apple Watch.

Her mother was happy because she saw Jane doing her homework quietly. Mother gave

the Apple Watch for being a good girl. The next day, Jane wore her new watch to school. Jane friends praised Jane and

her watch. Ring! The recess bell rang. Jane kept on showing her friends and they were

green with envy. They wished they had such an expensive watch too. During recess, Jane and Jenny rushed to the canteen. Jenny bought a bowl of

noodles and Jenny ate a plate of nasi lemak. While they were talking, Jane did not notice

that her watch was missing. Jenny pointed to Jane`s wrist and realized that Jane`s watch

was missing , Jane immediately burst into tears and asked did anyone saw her new

watch, but no one saw her watch . She quarreled with Jenny and said that Jenny had

taken her watch. When Susan was at the Lost and Found section, she found something familiar. It

looked like Jane`s watch! She went to ask Jane if it was hers. Thankfully it was! Jane

apologised to Jenny and thank Susan for helping her.

What a lovely watch!” said Alyssa as she opened a small box mother had given her after she had finished buying groceries for the family. Her mother had given Alyssa a new Baby-G watch as she did well for her PSLE test. Alyssa clapped her hands and thanked her mother profusely for buying her favorite watch. Alyssa was as happy as a lark. She promised her mother to continue the good work and will take care of her new watch.

The next day at school, Alyssa proudly wore her new Baby-G watch to school. Ring! Ring! The school bell rang to tell everybody that it was time for recess. Alyssa and her friends, Natalie and Jalen rushed to the canteen to grab a bite. While Alyssa, Natalie and Jalen were queueing to buy their food, Alyssa showed off her new Baby-G watch to them. Natalie and Jalen praised Alyssa and they admired her new watch.

Soon, Alyssa and her friends settled down and began eating her food. Suddenly, Alyssa noticed that her watch was missing! Without knowing anything, Alyssa assumed that Natalie was the one who took her watch as she thought that Natalie was green with envy. They argued with each other. Alyssa was so angry that she stormed away loudly.

Natalie wanted to make Alyssa happy again so she went to the General Office. She went to the lost and found corner and found Alyssa’s new Baby-G watch there. She immediately ran to Alyssa and told her that she found her watch at the lost and found

corner. Alyssa burst out tears of joy and apologized to Natalie for arguing and assuming her wrongly just now. Alyssa learned her lesson to take better care of her things.

Sam ran to the payphone and called the ambulance. After a while, the ambulance came. They heard what happened. The ambulance immediately brought the old lady to the hospital.

When the lady regained consciousness, her family was happy and relieved. They thanked Sam for his help.

Helping an Elderly

It was a sunny Sunday. Simon just came back from a shopping trip. Suddenly Simon saw

his neighbor fainting.

Simon panicked, but suddenly a brainwave popped in his mind .Simon took out a twenty

cent and ran to the nearby telephone and called the ambulance, “Hello can you come to block

forty two”. As fast as lightning, the ambulance came, and they saw Simon's neighbor fainting.

They carried Simon’s neighbor and put her on the stretcher and went to the hospital.

The next day, Simon’s family visited their neighbor, she looked much better .She thanked

Simon profusely. Simon felt as happy as a lark as he had done a good deed.

It was a windy Sunday morning. Jess and her brother, James, went to the nearby park to jog while others cycled their bikes and some did some warm-ups. Suddenly, while they cycled by the pond, they saw a woman shouting for help. The woman was worried because her son was drowning. Passer-by heard them too. Without hesitation, James ran as fast as lightning to save the drowning boy. James immediately jumped in and swam to the drowning boy. He grabbed his clothes and pulled him outside the pond. The lady then hugged him tightly as she was very worried. She breathe in a sigh of relief as her son was fine. The lady thanked him profusely. James felt happy as he had done a good deed. Careless Act One day, when cotton ball clouds drifted lazily, Tom came home and was hungry.

“Can I have a cookie? I am so hungry that I could eat a horse” Tom said. Sadly, his mother did not allow him to take the cookies. When his mother took a nap, he started to do his homework. He was bored.

He felt like eating cookies, but he could not reach the cookie jar. Suddenly, an idea came into his mind! He dragged a chair from the living room to the kitchen and magazines from the store room. He started to climb the chair. He was mischievous.

Finally, he got the cookie jar. In a blink of an eye, he lost his balance and landed face flat on the hard floor. The cookie jar slipped out of Tom’s hands. Crash! The cookie jar shattered into pieces. The cookies broke into pieces too.

When mother heard the commotion, she woke up and rushed to the kitchen. She was shocked to see a broken cookie jar, cookie crumbs, a toppled chair, a pile of comics and Tom groaning in pain. When Tom got up, mother was red with fury. He apologised profusely for his actions. Mother reprimanded Tom. Tom promised he would not do that again.

“Don’t touch this cookie jar!” warned Mother. Tom and his mother were in the

kitchen. Tom had returned home from school. He was as hungry as a bear and wanted a

cookie. Sadly, his mother did not allow him to take the cookie from the cookie jar. They

were saving it for their movie night. After lunch, Mother decided to take a nap while Tom played. Shortly after, Tom

started to feel bored. He sneaked into the kitchen as quiet as a mouse, he dragged a

chair from the dining room to the kitchen. He was trying to take the cookie jar but he could

not reach it, so he took a stack of newspaper and put it on the chair. Finally, he got the

cookie! Crash! In a blink of an eye, Tom lost his balance and tumbled down. He fell off the

chair. The cookie jar shattered on the floor. The cookie broke into tiny pieces. Tom’s

mother heard the commotion. She woke up from her nap and rushed into the kitchen.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Mother was shocked to see pieces of glass and cookies

on the floor. Tom was groaning in pain under the cupboard. She saw a chair and a stack

of newspaper. She was red with fury that Tom disobeyed her and tried to take the cookie

jar. Tom was as stubborn as a mule. His mother punished him by clean the mess and she

called off the movie night. Tom learnt to be more careful.

A Fire!

It was a cool afternoon, Dan was alone at home after school. He was bored, when

all of a sudden, something caught his eyes. He was curious. He quickly took a peek at

the object. It was a small box of matches and some candles! Feeling as playful as a kitten,

he decided to play with it. He tried to light up the candle with the matches. After a few

tries, he finally lit up the candle. Dan was happy as a lark.

A gust of wind entered, the kitchen and instead of putting out the fire, the candle

toppled and fell on the dustbin. In a blink of an eye, the rubbish, that was overflowing,

caught fire! Dan was shocked and he gasped in horror. As the fire grew bigger in the

dustbin, Dan turned as white as a ghost. He was frightened. The fire was so big that the

dustbin fell. Suddenly, the kitchen became an inferno. The fire had spread to the whole

kitchen. Dan felt breathless. His throat felt dry. Dan ran out of the kitchen.

He ran to the phone to call for help. He called 995 for the firefighters. Dan also used his

phone to call his parents. To let them know what had happened. They told him to go to

the neighbour`s house and to stay there a little while. They also told Dan to also stay safe.

A few hours later, sirens could be heard. The firefighters have arrived. They saw thick

smoke coming from the building. They were ready for action. They sprayed their hoses

at the fire blaze. After something, the fire is gone. Dan`s parents worried and furious at

Dan. The firefighters told Dan to not play with matches. From then on, Dan did not play

with matchsticks again.

When they put out the fire from Dan's kitchen, Dan’s parents came home. They saw blackened wall. They scolded Dan for causing a fire. Dan never play with matches again.

something .Suddenly, when he came back to his room, Tom saw some smoke from his neighbour's window

Tom was afraid. He ran over to his parents’ room, he knock on the door. “What’s wrong Tom?” asked his parents. “I smell some smoke in my room,” said Tom. Tom parents got into a shock. “Call 995 for help” said Tom’s parents. The fire engine was hurt .Tom saw the fire fighters were putting out the fire for the neighbour. The walls were blackened and furniture were charred.

The firefighters told Rayden not to play with matches again. Rayden parents reprimanded him for causing the fire in the house. Rayden regretted his actions and promised his parents not to play with matches again.

them on the chair so he could reach the cookie jar.

his chair. The cookie jar in his hand slipped and shattered on the floor. The cookies broke

Salma heard the commotion. She woke up from her nap and rushed to the kitchen.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Salma saw the mess. Jack was groaning in pain under

the kitchen cabinet. Salma also saw the toppled chair and newspapers all over the kitchen

floor.

Salma punished Jack for all the mess he made. She scolded him and made him

Soon, it was lunch, and Ryan have finished it quickly. While his mother went to the toilet, Ryan secretly ate the pack of potato chips and an ice-cream cone. His mother went back to clean the table. She saw that Ryan was eating the pack of potato chips and an ice-cream cone. He was very greedy.

After a while, Ryan felt tummy ached and vomited. His mother quickly brought Ryan to the hospital!

Three days later, Ryan woke up and apologized to his mother for being so greedy. He promised never ever to secretly eat things that his mother did not allow him to eat and to stop being greedy.

chair. He thought he could reach the jar of cookies.

pieces! Tom heaved a sigh of relief for he did not hurt himself. However, his mother heard

the commotion. She ran as fast as lightning into the kitchen to see what had happened.

When she got to the kitchen, she saw the jar of cookies had shattered into tiny

pieces. Mother was very angry. She was red with fury. She scolded Tom for his

disobedience. Tom was ashamed and he felt guilty. He promised his mother that he would

not do that again in future. Tom was relieved when his mother decided to give him another

chance.

At last, it was dinnertime and Ben was as hungry as a bear. Just as, Ben finished eating his dinner, he ate a bag of potato chips and an ice popsicle as he was as hungry as a bear again.

When he finished the ice popsicle, he went into his room, took a book and read a few pages. Then he got ready for bed as it was 9.30.

Suddenly, Ben started to vomit and his stomach ached. His mother was shocked

to see what had happened to Ben, He looked as sick as a dog.

A Lost Dog

“Yay, school is over!’ Aiko shouted as she was walking home from school. As Aiko

was on her way home, she saw a cute puppy. The puppy looked scared and it whimpered

softly. Aiko noticed that the puppy had a collar around its neck. She knew that the puppy

must be lost!

Aiko took some dog food out of her bag. She is an animal lover and she always

has some dog biscuits with her in case she sees dogs by the roads. She fed the puppy

and patted it. Aiko tried to find the address on the collar but there was none.

When she looked closely at the puppy, she found that it looked familiar to her. She

realized that the puppy belonged to her neighbor, Madam Smith. Aiko rushed to her

neighbour’s house with the puppy in her arms. She knocked on Madam Smith’s front door.

Madam Smith opened the door and looked shocked to see that Aiko was carrying

her puppy, Dori. Aiko returned the puppy to her. Madam Smith rewarded Aiko and her

family with three tickets to Sentosa. Aiko politely refused the reward. Aiko was just happy

that she had done a good deed.

A Lost Puppy

It was a hot, sunny afternoon. Lexi was walking home from school which was a stone’s throw away. Suddenly, she heard a puppy barking. As quick as lightning, she ran towards the sound as she was an animal lover.

As Lexi drew near the sound, she saw a puppy. The puppy was whimpering in distress. When the puppy saw Lexi, it looked frightened. The puppy was as cute as a button.

Lexi fed it some biscuits. The biscuits calmed the puppy. The puppy let Lexi pet itself. Lexi noticed a collar on the puppy. The collar had the puppy’s name “Sabrina” and an address.

Realisation dawned on Lexi as she realized that the puppy was someone’s. She also realized the puppy’s owner was her neighbour Mrs Lee. Lexi wondered whether she should return it to her neighbour as Lexi wanted the puppy so much.

Suddenly, she remembered that her mother always told her that honesty is the best policy. Lexi decided to return the puppy to Mrs Lee.

Lexi knocked on Mrs Lee’s door. Mrs Lee came out with a sad look on her face. When Mrs Lee saw Lexi carrying her puppy, her face turned happy. When Lexi was giving Mrs Lee her puppy, she felt sad. Mrs Lee saw Lexi was feeling sad so Mrs Lee gave some money to Lexi to buy a puppy as a reward.

Lexi’s face lit up with joy and she took the money. Lexi bought a new puppy and named it Serena. Now, when Lexi is free, she would play with Serena.

Ring Ring! It was time to go home. While Wendy was walking home from school, she saw a puppy crying for help. She wanted to pat the puppy but it was very scared because it thought that Wendy was a stranger, so it decided not to go near Wendy. Wendy was curious. Why did the puppy hide from her? She knew that the dog was hungry. So she decided to give the leftovers that she had to the dog.

When she carried the dog, she noticed that there was a poster about a missing dog. Wendy decided to take a paper to write down the address and phone number that was printed on the poster. After that, she decided to call the number. After a while, she had a call asking her to meet them at their house.

So she decided to go to the house and return the dog to the owner. When Wendy and the puppy arrived, the owner was relieved that her dog was safe with her, and thanked Wendy for her help. He also gave Wendy one thousand dollars to go to any country. Wendy was happy that she had done a good deed.

A Lost Dog

Ding, Ding, Dong, Dong! The school bell rang. While Jane was walking home, she saw a lost puppy. The puppy was very cute and scared. Jane walked to the cute puppy and wanted to comfort it, but she was too shy to comfort it for the first time.

Shortly after, Jane realised that a poster behind her was saying about a lost puppy She looked carefully at the picture on the poster and was so surprised that the puppy was the same puppy! Then she saw the dog with a collar. The collar had an address on it. After that, she quickly took the lost puppy to the owner’s house.

After a while, when Jane was just a few metres away from the owner’s house, she was wondering if the owner was at home.

At last, she soon saw the owner's house straight ahead. Jane finally reached the puppy's owner's house. An old woman opened the door. One beautiful and clear day, John was at the shopping mall when he saw an old lady fainting. He rushed to the payphone and called the ambulance. When the ambulance came, they brought the old lady into the ambulance. John hoped that she was still alive.

After a while, John looked at the old lady's eyes opened. John was relieved. He was so happy and the old lady thanked John. His father was relieved and told that she was your grandma and you done a good deed.

In the end, John said “If I did not see you fainting I couldn't know you were my grandmother and I hope you get better.”

I wish that there is winter in Singapore. I would be able to see snowflakes and

snow .How cool is that! Furthermore, I can also build snowman and have snowball fights!

I can also see and play in the snow. Most importantly, we can see snow animals like artic

foxes, snow hares, polar bears and many other more. I would be so bored without snow.

So, just jump in and have fun!

On a snowy day, little snowflakes drop softly on the ground. Maybe we will have

the chance of seeing northern lights on a snowy day in Singapore. Northern lights are a

natural phenomenon of beautiful flashes of lights!

Rainy Days

Rainy days help flowers bloom. I love flowers. Rainy days are cool and we do not

need to turn on the fans or air-conditioners.

Raindrops really sound like music. I love to wear my pretty raincoat and walk in the

rain. I get to show off my raincoat too! Sometimes when it rains heavily, it is about 22⁰ C

in the house. That’s like an air-conditioned house! It is so amazing.

I think the rain is like love falling down from the sky. The love is all on the ground

Windy Days

I love windy days. On a windy day, I get to fly a kite and enjoy people flying kites

too. I can also save electricity by not turning on the air-conditioning and let the wind blow

那是一个明媚的星期天早上。我自己到外面走一下。可是，走着走着，我不想走

了，就去鱼池看一下蝌蚪。

走到鱼池的时候，我看到一群蝌蚪，好想要把蝌蚪当宠物。可是，妈妈一直都不让

我养宠物。这群蝌蚪好可爱啊！我忍不住想去摸摸它们时，突然失去平衡掉进水里。幸

好，我会游泳，有惊无险。

回家后，我把事情的经过跟妈妈说。妈妈听了后，叫我先去冲凉。冲凉后，妈妈把

我骂了一顿。

经过这次的教训，我再也不会那么不小心了。

Pada suatu hari ,Singa tertidur. Tikus datang dan mengganggu Singa. Singa

marah. Tikus cuba melarikan diri tetapi Singa dapat menangkapnya. Tikus meminta

tolong pada Singa supaya melepaskannya. Dia berjanji akan menolong Singa jika Singa

di dalam kesusahan. Pada suatu hari, Singa terjerat di perangkap. Tikus datang
