Reassessment Policy•All summative tests can be reassessed. Reassessments will be different depending on the type
of summative. •We will go over exactly how to reassess in class after summative grades are passed back to
students. •Reassessments will cover the same information, but will rarely have the exact same questions.
(Ex. Often multiple choice will turn into short answers, etc.)•Projects cannot be reassessed. If a student is absent for a portion of or all of a project they can
be alternately assessed.•All work should be turned in complete and on time. If work is turned in incomplete it will be
considered late and cannot be reassessed.

Use of Tech:
There will be graded notebook checks each quarter. Students will be expected to turn in their social studies folder/binder for a check to see if they have all papers/handouts necessary for studying or completing a project. If students lose a paper it will be their responsibility to obtain a new one, whether by printing one off from Mrs. Steffan’s website or by searching through the make-up work or recycling bins.
NOTEBOOK CHECKS PBL:We will be trying some Project Based Learning this year. These projects will involve collaboration, research, and presenting a final product to the community in some way.
