• 483-098 Lion Brand LB Collection Cashmere: Natural 2 Balls
• Lion Brand Double-Pointed Needles - Size 6
• Lion Brand Stitch Markers
• Large-Eyed Blunt Needles

Circular needle size 6 (4.25 mm), 16 in. (40.5 cm) long.
GAUGE:
22 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Lace Stitch worked in the rnd. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR
GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specifiedin the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes
you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller sizehook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
PATTERN STITCHESLace St (even number of sts)Rnds 1 and 3: *K2, p2; rep from * around.
Rnd 2: *Yo, k2tog, p2; rep from * around.Rnd 4: *K2tog, yo, p2; rep from * around.Rep Rnds 1-4 for Lace St.
K2, p2 Rib (worked in the rnd)Rnd 1: *K2, p2, rep from * around.Rnd 2: K the knits and p the purls.Rep Rnd 2 for K2, p2 Rib.
CAP Beg at crown, cast on 6 sts.Divide sts onto 3 needles and join, being careful not to twist sts. Place marker for beg of rnd.Inc Rnd: K into front and back of each st – 12 sts.Next Rnd: Knit.Next Rnd: *K1, inc in next st; rep from * around – 18 sts.Next Rnd: Knit.Next Rnd: *K2, inc in next st; rep from * around – 24 sts.Continue as established, working inc rnd every other rnd, having 1 more st between incs until you have atotal of 120 sts.Note: Change to circular needle once sts have been sufficiently increased.Next Rnd: Work Rnd 1 of Lace St around.
