Introduction

Li Baolin, an A-list artist and also a committee member of China National

Academy of Painting, is the deputy director of Chinese Painting

Committee of Chinese Artist Association, the head of Landscaping

Painting Committee of Chinese Artist Association, the curator of China

Du Ziling

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in 1941 in Tianjin, Mr. Du Zilin is a post-graduate from figure painting class

of Chinese painting department of China Academy of Art as disciple of Mr. Ye

Qianyu and Mr. Li Zhenjian, famous Chinese painters. He was editor-in-chief and

reviewing editor of Tianjin Peoples Fine Arts Publishing House. He is also

president and professor of Oriental Art Department of Nankai University. Now, he

serves as member of the National Committee of Chinese People's PoliticalConsultative Conference, Councilor of China Artists Association, Vice President of

Chinese Painting Institute, Vice President of China Culture Academy of Painting &

Calligraphy of Center of International Cultural Exchange of Ministry of Culture,

Vice President of Tianjin Artists Association, doctoral supervisor of Chinese

Xiao Ping

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in 1942 in Chongqing, Sichuan Province, Mr. Xiao Ping is also known as Pingzhi or Gefu, whose ancestral

home is in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province and whose department was named as Lotus-loving Place. He

graduated from Chinese Painting Academy of Jiangsu Province in 1963. He served in Nanjing Museum for 19

years majored in identification of calligraphy and painting, and in 1981 he transferred to Chinese Painting

Academy of Jiangsu Province and he is an expert of a combination of calligraphy, Chinese Painting, art

appreciation and collection. Since 1983, he has been invited to the United States and Europe, Asia to teach and

research and to attend international art historical forum of high level. He has published scores of picture and

calligraphy albums, 12 research monographs. He is now National First-class Artist of Chinese Painting Academy

of Jiangsu Province, researcher of Arts and Culture Institute of Jianggsu Province, member of Jiangsu Culture and

History Museum, professor of Southeast University, Nanjing Art Institute, Fine Arts College of Peking University,

Nanjing Agricultural University and Yangzhou University, Visiting Researcher of the Palace Museum, member of

Expert Committee of Xiling Yinshe Art Identification Center, Consultant on identification of Jiangsu Provincial Art

Introduction

Born in 1943 in Hefei, Anhui Province, Mr. Wang Tao graduated from the art

professional class of the art department of Anhui Normal University in 1967 and

Liu Jude

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in December, 1946 in Inner Mongolia, Mr. Liu Jude graduated from Central

Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1970. In 1973, he worked as Art Editor of Yunnan

Peoples Publishing House and studied in the post-graduate class of Central

Academy of Arts and Crafts as disciple of Professor Pang Xunqin and Wu

Guanzhong, where he stayed to teach after graduation in 1981. Now, he is the

professor of painting department, doctoral tutor and serves as President of

Academic Committee of Academy of Art & Design of Tsinghua University. He is

also Councilor of China Artists Association, Councilor of Beijing Artists Association

and Vice President of China Culture Academy of Painting & Calligraphy of Center

of International Cultural Exchange of Ministry of Culture enjoying the State Council

Special Allowance.

Wang Yuliang

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in 1949 in Yantai of Shandong Province, Mr. Wang Yuliang grew up in Zhucheng of

Shandong Province. He is professor of Art & Design of Tsinghua University, postgraduate

supervisor, member of China Artists Association, Vice President of Art Committee of China

Culture Academy of Painting & Calligraphy of Center of International Cultural Exchange of

Ministry of Culture. In his early years he learned from senior artist such as Guo Tongshu,

Shan Zhinan, Wang Zhongnian. In 1978 he entered Central Academy of Arts and Crafts as

a post-graduate student of Professor Pang Xunqin, did the comparative study between

the traditional Chinese decorative painting and modern Western painting. In 1980 he

graduated and stayed to keep on his research and creation on art and art education. His

artworks were selected to the 7th, 8th and 9th of the National Art Exhibition and dozens

of exhibitions of national level. His paintings are collected by National Museum of China,

National Art Museum of China, Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution,

Chinese Painting Research Institute, Hong Kong Museum of Art, National Gallery of

Australia, the Great Hall of the People and so on. His huge paintings are displayed in the

United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs ofthe People's Republic of China and so on.

Fan Di'an

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in September, 1955 in Fujian Province, Fan Di'an once served as Vice President and professor of

China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now the curator of National Art Museum of China, Vice

President of China Artists Association, Director of National Art Museum Profession Committee. He is

engaged in researches of China 20th Century Art, modern art criticism and exhibition curating, artistic

museology. In December, 2005, he begun to serve as the curator of National Art Museum. He put

forward the concept "Focus on the public" and upgraded the professional level of National Art

Museum in strength academic research exchange, expanding public education and social relations

and building widen platform for international exchange. He introduced excellent art exhibitions from

France, Russia, Italy, Mexico, US, Spain, Belgium, Germany, UK and so on. Meanwhile he curated

mega Chinese contemporary art exhibitions in Russia, South Korea, Austria, Germany . He once took

charge of the curating work of China Pavilion in Venice Biennale, Sino-French culture year, Sino-Italy

culture year, Shanghai Biennale, the Europalia-China Arts Festival. He organized mega projects in

calligraphy like Scenario Calligraphy Mega Exhibition, Re-preface LanTing: Chinese Calligraphy

Exhibition and so on.

Ma Haifang

Chinese Traditional Painting Artist

Introduction

Born in 1956 in Daxing of Beijing, Mr. Ma Haifang was graduated from the

Chinese Painting Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1981.

He is member of Chinese Artists Association, Vice President of the Art

Committee of China Culture Academy of Painting & Calligraphy of the

Ministry of Culture, artist of the People's Fine Arts Publishing House. His

various picture albums are published by Hong Kong Xinyuan Publishing

House, Fujian Art Publishing House, Macropaedia Publishing House, HebeiEducation Publishing House, People's Fine Arts Publishing House and so on. In

1994 Customs of Old Beijing was selected to Excellent Works of the 8th

National Art Exhibition; in 1998 Looking For Fun was selected to the 9th of

National Art Exhibition; in December, 1998, he was awarded to the Silver Prize

of the Star Exhibition of Ministry of Culture; in 2004 Flow Chat of QuanJuDe

Roast Duck was selected to the 10th National Art Exhibition.
