Türkiye, ayakkabı üretiminde 1200 yıllık köklü bir geçmişe sahip. Yüksek kalitede üretim yapan firmalardan oluşan Türkiye ayakkabı sektörü, dünyanın en büyük 7’nci, Avrupa’nın en büyük 2’ncisidir. Türkiye’de ise ayakkabı üretimi ile ön plana çıkan sektörün öncü şehirlerinden biri İzmir. Liman şehri oluşu sebebiyle dünyanın her yerine kolaylıkla sevkiyat yapılan İzmir, Türkiye’deki ayakkabı üretiminin %40’ını karşılıyor.

Türkiye ayakkabı sektörünün buluşma platformu olan SHOEXPO İzmir Ayakkabı ve Çanta Fuarı, 24-26 Nisan 2019 tarihlerinde kapılarını 45. kez tüm dünyaya açmaya hazırlanıyor. SHOEXPO, Türkiye’nin en büyük ve en modern fuar alanı ‘’fuarizmir’’ de ulusal ve uluslararası ziyaretçilerini ağırlamaya devam ediyor.

Turkey has a long history of 1200 years in footwear production. This sector, which consists of high-quality manufacturing companies, is the 7th largest in the world and the 2nd largest in Europe. İzmir is one of the leading cities in the sector that comes to the forefront with footwear production. Due to the port city formation, this city can easily make shipment to all around the world and covers 40% of the footwear production in Turkey.

SHOEXPO İzmir Footwear and Bags Fair which is the Turkey’s most essential meeting platform is preparing itself to open its gates to the whole world for the 45th time between 24th and 26th April 2019. SHOEXPO will continue to welcome national and international sector professionals to “fuarizmir”, the largest and most modern fairground of Turkey.

Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Tekstil ve Moda Tasarımı Bölümü Aksesuar Tasarımı Ana Sanat Dalı Bölümü öğrencileri ile 3 gün süren bir workshop düzenlendi. Alanında başarılı eğitmenler eşliğinde gerçekleşen workshopta “Ayakkabı ve Saraciye Tasarımı, Üretimi’’ konusunda eğitim alan öğrenciler, kendi tasarımları olan çanta ve ayakkabı modellerini üretime geçirdi.

The workshop was held with the students of Accessory Design from Dokuz Eylül University Textile and Fashion Design Department. The students, had educated in “ Shoes and Saddlery Design, Production”, started their bag and shoe design production accompanied by distinguished instructor.
