Take a breadboard.
Step No. 1
![Page 7: 3. glow an led](https://reader033.fdocument.pub/reader033/viewer/2022052602/559b4f5d1a28ab3d3b8b45bc/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
Connect a 9V baEery on the breadboard.
Step No. 2
![Page 8: 3. glow an led](https://reader033.fdocument.pub/reader033/viewer/2022052602/559b4f5d1a28ab3d3b8b45bc/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Connect an LED on the breadboard.
Step No. 3
![Page 9: 3. glow an led](https://reader033.fdocument.pub/reader033/viewer/2022052602/559b4f5d1a28ab3d3b8b45bc/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
Connect the posiHve terminal of the LED to Vcc (posiHve terminal of the baEery).
Step No. 4
![Page 10: 3. glow an led](https://reader033.fdocument.pub/reader033/viewer/2022052602/559b4f5d1a28ab3d3b8b45bc/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Connect one of the legs of a 330 Ω resistor to the negaHve terminal of the LED and its other leg on the breadboard.
Step No. 5

Connect the other leg of the resistor to ground (negaHve terminal of the baEery).
Step No. 6
![Page 12: 3. glow an led](https://reader033.fdocument.pub/reader033/viewer/2022052602/559b4f5d1a28ab3d3b8b45bc/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Complete Circuit The LED glows, hence the circuit is complete.

CongratulaHons !!!
You have successfully built your first project on the breadboard. If the LED glows, this means your circuit is working well.

• Ensure that your baEery voltage is more than 5 volt. • Ensure that the wires of your baEery connector are
properly inserted into the breadboard. Red wire should be inserted into the first row and black wire into the second row of the breadboard.
• Ensure that the LED is in a working state. • Ensure that the posiHve terminal (longer leg) of the LED
is connected to Vcc, not the other way around. • Ensure that the stripped ends of the connecHng wires
are long enough to fit inside the holes of the breadboard.
• Ensure that there are no loose connecHons.
