檢測程度中高級英語能力逐漸成熟，應用領域擴大，雖有錯誤，但無礙溝通，相當於大學非英語主修系所畢業。 通過中高級檢定者的英語能力聽說讀寫能聽懂一般社交及一般工作場合所使用之英語。畢業門檻
GEPT high-intermediate: 通過中高級檢定者的英語能力
聽 說 讀 寫能聽懂一般社交及一般工作場合所使用之英語。
能使用英語在一般社交及一般工作場合表達自己的意見及看法。
能閱讀各類文章及工作所需的文件。
能以英文書寫一般性的摘要、工作報告及書信。
