“How big should the brewhouse be?”
The single most important question a brewery owner can ask.
And it carries serious implications:• An oversized brewhouse yields stagnant product, in turn an inability to
pivot, customize, and experiment with smaller batches.
• Too small of a brewhouse makes success a burden: equipment wear & labor skyrocket-while this relatively young brewery must embark on upgrading the brewery: permits, construction, fundraising, scaling, starting from square one (while still operating a brewery).
