Background:
- MAM wanted to allow visitors to take photos to encourage more people to come and enjoy the museum
- MAM was interested in the positive effect of blogosphere (Social) to the number of visitors
- MAM judged Ai Weiwei was likely to say OK to adopt CC, and solo exhibition was much easier to clear the copyright issue
- His artworks were mainly huge objects and installations, MAM need not worry about "illegal duplication" of his artworks due to allowing people to take photos

How to apply CC to the exhibition:
- CCJP prepared the draft CC license agreement between the museum and the artist. (Most conservative license CC BY-NC-ND 2.1 Japan was chosen to reduce risks.)
- Every artwork is allowed to be taken picture (Operation might be much harder if the museum had excluded several artworks)
- Put the notice at the entrance and the flyers to give away to visitors
- MAM prohibited these actions; No movie shooting, No tripod, No flash
