My name is Jnos Szab.

I was born on 29th

September 1984 in Bkscsaba. (= on the

twenty-ninth of September, nineteen eighty-four)

2. Where do you live?

Whom do you live with?

I live in Hdmezvsrhely with my parents and my two

younger brothers.

3a. Have you got a brother ora sister?

What are their names?

How old are they?

What do they do?

Ive got two brothers and a sister. My brothers names areBence and Mt, and my sisters name is Anik. The boys aretwins, and they are three years younger than me. They attend the

same secondary school as me. My elder sister, Anik is 21 years

old. She lives in Budapest with her boyfriend. She attends the

University of Economics there.

a sister?

Do you like being an only

child?

No, I am an only child, but I dont like it at all. My friends

sometimes envy me because I dont have to share my things with

a brother or a sister, but I think it has many disadvantages as well.

For example I often feel lonely, and I dont have anyone to sharemy household chores with.

4. What do your parents do? /Whats your parents job?

Where do they work?

My mother is an accountant by profession, but currently sheworks as a secretary for a firm in Szeged. She had been

unemployed for a long time before she found this job. My father

is a teacher of Maths and Physics at a local primary school.

5a. Have you got a pet?

What is it?

How do you take care of

him/her?

Yes, Ive got a dog called Czr. Though he is just a mongrel,

I like him very much. He has a kennel in our garden. It is me and

my younger brother who take care of him: we feed him, walk

him, and, of course, play with him.

5b. Have you got a pet?Why not?

No, I havent. As we live in a second-floor flat on a housingestate, the circumstances are not suitable for keeping an animal

which needs space. Also, we are too busy to take proper care ofit, so we decided not to keep a pet at all.

6. What do you do in your

free time? What are

your hobbies?

Unfortunately I have to study hard at school, so I dont have

much free time on weekdays. I usually watch TV in the evenings,

or listen to some music while doing my homework. However, at

the weekends I usually go cycling to the hills nearby, or go to the

cinema or disco with my friends.

7. Which school do you

attend?Where would you like to

continue your studies?

I attend Bethlen Gbor Secondary Grammar School in

Hdmezvsrhely. After leaving this school I would like tocontinue my studies at the University of Szeged. Id like to

qualify as an economist, and start my own business.

8. What would you include in

a CV about yourself?

How would it look like?

First of all, I would include some personal data, like my full

name, date and place of birth, my nationality, and marital status. I

would also include my address, my phone number, and even my

e-mail address so that I can be contacted easily if needed. Then I

would include information about my education, skills, and

previous work experience. I would use headings, and arrange the

information clearly on an A4 sheet. I would type or word-processit, of course.

9. When do you need to write

a CV?

Some universities might ask for a copy of your CV if you

apply to them. Also, if you want to apply for a job, you should

send a letter of application and enclose a copy of your CV with it.
