    Thedriveroftheinverteristhe555timerand4017decadecounter.555timergeneratepulsesatafrequencyoffourtimesthedesiredoutputfrequency.Forexample,ifyouwanta60Hzoutput,thetimerfrequencymustbeequalto240Hz(4*60Hz).For50Hzoutput,200Hzistheoutputof555.YoucantrydifferentcombinationofR1,R2,andC1toobtainthedesiredfrequencybyusingthe555calculator.TheuseofLM7809regulatoristoprotectthe555and4017fromvoltagespikesandtransientsthatcaninfluencetheiroperationandstability.YoucanuseLM7808,LM7806,or7805 regulator or any regulator IC available at hand.But take note that theregulatoroutputmustbe5Vandabove tomakesure that youcandrive theMosfetQ1,andQ2.Thediagrambelow is thecomparisonofmodifiedandpuresinewave.BothhavethesamepeakvalueandRMSvalue.

    Yeahitskindahardtotellthefrequencyifyoudonthaveanyoscilloscopeoranydevicethatcanmeasurefrequency.IsuggestthatmakesurethevaluesofR1,R2,andC1arehaving1%(thelowerthebetter)toleranceormeasureR1,R2,andC2andmakesurethatthevaluesareequalofveryneartothedesignabove.Thatisagoodwayofmakingsuretheoutputisnear60Hz.
