Living Labs


In the tradiFonal research environment, scienFsts and researchers are engaged in the development of new technologies, products and services to meet perceived market needs which many Fmes don’t materialize or are not met by technology push soluFons.

Living Labs are a user-‐driven open innovaFon eco-‐system where the user (ciFzen, resident, worker, student, visitor, customer) lives, works, studies, plays and entertains. In this real living environment, the user co-‐creates, experiments and tests new ideas, products and services. User centric soluFons and social innovaFon processes lead to new forms of producFvity and compeFFveness as well as sustainable behaviour transformaFon.
