DOS RollbackCommander Options

• DOS Rollback is not a voluntary • Commanders will not seek volunteers • Commanders may deny Airmen in reenlistment • Separatee Airmen – Commanders will annotate on MPS roster

– “Separatee –accomplished AF Form 418”• Retain Airmen - Commanders will annotate on MPS roster

– Must state “retain”• May execute early SRP consideration

Eligibility Criteria

• SMSgt or below• <14 years or 20 years or more a/o 20 Sep 13• DOS of 31 Aug 13 or later for retirees • DOS of 20 Sept 13 for separatees• Possess one or more DOS codes

Exclusions• DOS of 20 Sep 13 or earlier• Released from medical/admin hold after 20 Sep 13• Currently in confinement on release date of PSDM• Serving probation/rehabilitation under AFI 36-3208• Pending action under the disability, evaluation

system IAW AFI 36-3212– Physical Evaluation for Retention, retirement, and

Separation are not eligible• Participating in Return to Duty Program– Air Force Correction System

General Guidance• Mandatory DOS ROLLBACK Phase II Program– 31 Aug 13 for retirees– 20 Sep 13 for separatees

• Retirement date NLT 1 Sep 13• Unearned portions of education assistance funds, special pay,

bonuses will not be recouped• Airmen <6 years and >20 years AD authorized separation pay• Must agree to serve 3 years in the IRR• Airmen with 180 days or more AD are authorized TAP benefits
