οὖσιν ἐν Φιλίπποις

ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ

Θεοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν

καὶ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ

Εὐχαριστῶ τῷ Θεῷ

μου ἐπὶ πάσῃ τῇ

μνείᾳ ὑμῶν, 4

πάντοτε ἐν πάσῃ

δεήσει μου ὑπὲρ

πάντων ὑμῶν μετὰ

χαρᾶς τὴν δέησιν

ποιούμενος 5 ἐπὶ τῇ

κοινωνίᾳ ὑμῶν εἰς

τὸ εὐαγγέλιον ἀπὸ

πρώτης ἡμέρας ἄχρι

τοῦ νῦν, 6 πεποιθὼς

αὐτὸ τοῦτο, ὅτι ὁ

ἐναρξάμενος ἐν

ὑμῖν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν

ἐπιτελέσει ἄχρις

ἡμέρας Ἰησοῦ

Χριστοῦ, 7 καθώς

ἐστι δίκαιον ἐμοὶ

τοῦτο φρονεῖν ὑπὲρ

πάντων ὑμῶν διὰ τὸ

ἔχειν με ἐν τῇ

καρδίᾳ ὑμᾶς, ἔν τε

τοῖς δεσμοῖς μου καὶ

ἐν τῇ ἀπολογίᾳ καὶ

βεβαιώσει τοῦ

εὐαγγελίου

συγκοινωνούς μου

τῆς χάριτος πάντας

ὑμᾶς ὄντας.

1 Paul and Timothy,

servants of Christ Jesus, to

all God's holy people in

Christ Jesus at Philippi,

together with their

presiding elders and the

deacons. 2 Grace and peace to you

from God our Father and

the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God whenever

I think of you, 4 and every time I pray for

you all, I always pray with

joy 5 for your partnership in the

gospel from the very first

day up to the present. 6 I am quite confident that

the One who began a good

work in you will go on

completing it until the Day

of Jesus Christ comes. 7 It is only right that I should

feel like this towards you

all, because you have a

place in my heart, since you

have all shared together in

the grace that has been

mine, both my chains and

my work defending and

establishing the gospel.

ًِّ أَشْىُُش إٌِِٙي ػَِْٕذ وُ

ُْ رِوْشِٜ إِيَّبُو أَدْػِيَزِي، 4

ًِّ دَائًِّب فِي وُ

ًِب اٌطٍَّْجًَِِ َُِمذّ خَ ألَجْ

جَِّيؼُِىُْ ثِفََشحٍ،ٌِغَجَِت َُِشبَسوَزِىُُْ فِي 5

ٍَ ِإٌَٝ ْٓ أََّٚيِ يَْٛ اإلِْٔجِيًِ ِِ اآلَْ.

َٚاثِمًب ثِٙزَا ػَيِِْٕٗ أََّْ 6اٌَّزِٜ اثْزَذََأ فِيىُُْ َػَّاًل ًُ إٌَِٝ يََِْٛ

ِصَبٌِذًب يُىَّّ

يَغُٛعَ اٌَّْغِيخِ.وََّب يَذِّكُ ٌِي أَْْ أَفْزَىِشَ 7

8 μάρτυς γάρ μού

ἐστιν ὁ Θεός, ὡς

ἐπιποθῶ πάντας

ὑμᾶς ἐν σπλάγχνοις

Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ. 9 Καὶ

τοῦτο προσεύχομαι,

ἵνα ἡ ἀγάπη ὑμῶν

ἔτι μᾶλλον καὶ

μᾶλλον περισσεύῃ

ἐν ἐπιγνώσει καὶ

πάσῃ αἰσθήσει, 10

εἰς τὸ δοκιμάζειν

ὑμᾶς τὰ διαφέροντα,

ἵνα ἦτε εἰλικρινεῖς

καὶ ἀπρόσκοποι εἰς

ἡμέραν Χριστοῦ, 11

πεπληρωμένοι

καρπῶν δικαιοσύνης

τῶν διὰ Ἰησοῦ

Χριστοῦ εἰς δόξαν

καὶ ἔπαινον Θεοῦ. 12

Γινώσκειν δὲ ὑμᾶς

βούλομαι, ἀδελφοί,

ὅτι τὰ κατ’ ἐμὲ

μᾶλλον εἰς

προκοπὴν τοῦ

εὐαγγελίου

ἐλήλυθεν, 13 ὥστε

τοὺς δεσμούς μου

φανεροὺς ἐν Χριστῷ

γενέσθαι ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ

πραιτωρίῳ καὶ τοῖς

λοιποῖς πᾶσι, 14 καὶ

τοὺς πλείονας τῶν

ἀδελφῶν ἐν Κυρίῳ

πεποιθότας τοῖς

δεσμοῖς μου

περισσοτέρως

τολμᾶν ἀφόβως τὸν

λόγον λαλεῖν.

8 For God will testify for me

how much I long for you all

with the warm longing of

Christ Jesus; 9 it is my prayer that your

love for one another may

grow more and more with

the knowledge and

complete understanding 10 that will help you to come

to true discernment, so that

you will be innocent and

free of any trace of guilt

when the Day of Christ

comes, 11 entirely filled with the

fruits of uprightness

through Jesus Christ, for the

glory and praise of God. 12 Now I want you to

realise, brothers, that the

circumstances of my

present life are helping

rather than hindering the

advance of the gospel. 13 My chains in Christ have

become well known not

only to all the Praetorium,

but to everybody else, 14 and so most of the

brothers in the Lord have

gained confidence from my

chains and are getting more

and more daring in

announcing the Message

without any fear.

َِذَجَّزُىُُْ أَيْضًب َأوْثَشَ فَأَوْثَشَ فٍَُْٙ،

ِ فِي اٌَّْؼْشِفَخِ َٚفِي وًُّ

ضُٚا األَُُِٛس 11ِدَزَّٝ رَُّيّ

ٌِفَخَ، ٌِىَيْ رَىُُٛٔٛا اٌُّْزَخَبُِخٍِِْصنيَ َٚثِالَ ػَثْشٍَح ِإٌَٝ

يََِْٛ اٌَّْغِيخِ،11

ِْٓ ثََّشِ اٌْجِشّ ٍَُِّْٛئِنَي ِِ

اٌَّزِٜ ثِيَغُٛعَ اٌَّْغِيِخ ِٗ ََٚدِّْذِٖ. ٌَِّْجذِ اٌٍ

ٍَُّٛا 12 ُثَُّ أُسِيُذ أَْْ رَؼَّْْ أُ َٛحُ أَ ُِٛسِٜ َلذْ أَيَُّٙب اإلِخْ

َِ آٌَْذ َأوْثَشَ إٌَِٝ رََمذُّ اإلِْٔجِيًِ،

َّْ ُٚثُمِي 13 دَزَّٝ إٌَِّْغِيخِ صَبسَدْ ظَبَِ٘شحً فِي ا

دَاِس اٌْٛاِلَيَخِ َٚفِي ِفِي وًُّ

ي األََِبوِِٓ أَْجَّغَ.ثَبلِ14 ُْ َٚأَوْثَشُ اإِلخَْٛحِ، َُٚ٘

ثُِٛثُمِي، َِٚاثِمَُْٛ فِي اٌشَّةّ

15 τινὲς μὲν καὶ διὰ

φθόνον καὶ ἔριν,

τινὲς δὲ καὶ δι’

εὐδοκίαν τὸν

Χριστὸν

κηρύσσουσιν· 16 οἱ

μὲν ἐξ ἐριθείας τὸν

Χριστὸν

καταγγέλλουσιν,

οὐχ ἁγνῶς, οἰόμενοι

θλῖψιν ἐπιφέρειν

τοῖς δεσμοῖς μου· 17

οἱ δὲ ἐξ ἀγάπης,

εἰδότες ὅτι εἰς

ἀπολογίαν τοῦ

εὐαγγελίου κεῖμαι.

18 Τί γάρ; πλὴν

παντὶ τρόπῳ, εἴτε

προφάσει εἴτε

ἀληθείᾳ, Χριστὸς

καταγγέλλεται. καὶ

ἐν τούτῳ χαίρω,

ἀλλὰ καὶ

χαρήσομαι· 19 οἶδα

γὰρ ὅτι τοῦτό μοι

ἀποβήσεται εἰς

σωτηρίαν διὰ τῆς

ὑμῶν δεήσεως καὶ

ἐπιχορηγίας τοῦ

Πνεύματος Ἰησοῦ

Χριστοῦ, 20 κατὰ τὴν

ἀποκαραδοκίαν καὶ

ἐλπίδα μου ὅτι ἐν

οὐδενὶ

αἰσχυνθήσομαι,

ἀλλ’ ἐν πάσῃ

παρρησίᾳ, ὡς

πάντοτε, καὶ νῦν

μεγαλυνθήσεται

Χριστὸς ἐν τῷ

σώματί μου εἴτε διὰ

ζωῆς εἴτε διὰ

θανάτου.

15 It is true that some of

them are preaching Christ

out of malice and rivalry;

but there are many as well

whose intentions are good; 16 some are doing it out of

love, knowing that I remain

firm in my defence of the

gospel. 17 There are others who are

proclaiming Christ out of

jealousy, not in sincerity but

meaning to add to the

weight of my chains. 18 But what does it matter?

Only that in both ways,

whether with false motives

or true, Christ is

proclaimed, and for that I

am happy; 19 and I shall go on being

happy, too, because I know

that this is what will save

me, with your prayers and

with the support of the

Spirit of Jesus Christ; 20 all in accordance with my

most confident hope and

trust that I shall never have

to admit defeat, but with

complete fearlessness I

shall go on, so that now, as

always, Christ will be

glorified in my body,

whether by my life or my

death.

يُضِيفَُْٛ إٌَِٝ ُٚثُمِي ضِيمًب.َِذَجَّخٍ، 17 ْٓ َٚأٌُٚئِهَ ػَ

ي َِْٛضُٛعٌ ِِّنيَ أَّٔ ػَبٌِ

َّبيَخِ اإلِْٔجِيًِ. ٌِذِ18 ُٗ ػٍََٝ َفَّبرَا؟ غَيْشَ أََّٔ

ٍٗ عََٛاءٌ َوبَْ ثِؼٍٍَِّخ َٚجِْوًُّ

أََْ ِثذَكّ يَُٕبدَٜ ثِبٌَّْغِيخِ، ًْ عَأَفْشَحُ َٚثِٙزَا أََٔب أَفْشَحُ. ثَ

أَيْضًب.19 َّْ ُُ أَ ي أَػٍَْ

ِ٘زَا ألَّٔ

يَؤُٚيُ ٌِي إٌَِٝ خَاَلصٍ ثِطٍَْجَزِىُُْ َُِٚؤَاصَسَحِ سُِٚح

يَغُٛعَ اٌَّْغِيخِ،دَغََت أْزِظَبسِٜ 21

ي اَل ُأخْضَٜ فِي َِٚسَجَبئِي أَّٔ

ُِجَبَ٘شَحٍ شَيْءٍ،ِثًَْ ثِىًُّ

دِنيٍ، َوزٌَِه َِّب فِي وًُّ وَ

ٌَّْغِيُخ فِي اآلَْ، يَزَؼَظَُُّ اجَغَذِٜ، عََٛاءٌ َوبَْ ثِذَيَبٍح

أََْ ِثَّْٛدٍ.

21 Ἐμοὶ γὰρ τὸ ζῆν

Χριστὸς καὶ τὸ

ἀποθανεῖν κέρδος.

22 εἰ δὲ τὸ ζῆν ἐν

σαρκί, τοῦτό μοι

καρπὸς ἔργου, καὶ τί

αἱρήσομαι οὐ

γνωρίζω. 23

συνέχομαι δὲ ἐκ τῶν

δύο, τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν

ἔχων εἰς τὸ

ἀναλῦσαι καὶ σὺν

Χριστῷ εἶναι· πολλῷ

γὰρ μᾶλλον

κρεῖσσον· 24 τὸ δὲ

ἐπιμένειν ἐν τῇ

σαρκὶ

ἀναγκαιότερον δι’

ὑμᾶς. 25 καὶ τοῦτο

πεποιθώς οἶδα ὅτι

μενῶ καὶ

συμπαραμενῶ

πᾶσιν ὑμῖν εἰς τὴν

ὑμῶν προκοπὴν καὶ

χαρὰν τῆς πίστεως,

26 ἵνα τὸ καύχημα

ὑμῶν περισσεύῃ ἐν

Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ ἐν

ἐμοὶ διὰ τῆς ἐμῆς

παρουσίας πάλιν

πρὸς ὑμᾶς. 27

Μόνον ἀξίως τοῦ

εὐαγγελίου τοῦ

Χριστοῦ

πολιτεύεσθε, ἵνα

εἴτε ἐλθὼν καὶ ἰδὼν

ὑμᾶς εἴτε ἀπὼν

ἀκούσω τὰ περὶ

ὑμῶν, ὅτι στήκετε ἐν

ἑνὶ πνεύματι, μιᾷ

ψυχῇ συναθλοῦντες

τῇ πίστει τοῦ

εὐαγγελίου,

21 Life to me, of course, is

Christ, but then death

would be a positive gain. 22 On the other hand again,

if to be alive in the body

gives me an opportunity for

fruitful work, I do not know

which I should choose. 23 I am caught in this

dilemma: I want to be gone

and to be with Christ, and

this is by far the stronger

desire- 24 and yet for your sake to

stay alive in this body is a

more urgent need. 25 This much I know for

certain, that I shall stay and

stand by you all, to

encourage your advance

and your joy in the faith, 26 so that my return to be

among you may increase to

overflowing your pride in

Jesus Christ on my account. 27 But you must always

behave in a way that is

worthy of the gospel of

Christ, so that whether I

come to you and see for

myself or whether I only

hear all about you from a

distance, I shall find that

you are standing firm and

united in spirit, battling, as

a team with a single aim,

for the faith of the gospel.

1 So if in Christ there is

anything that will move

you, any incentive in love,

any fellowship in the

Spirit, any warmth or

sympathy -- I appeal to

you, 2 make my joy complete

by being of a single mind,

one in love, one in heart

and one in mind. 3 Nothing is to be done

out of jealousy or vanity;

instead, out of humility of

mind everyone should

give preference to others, 4 everyone pursuing not

selfish interests but those

of others. 5 Make your own the mind

of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form

of God, did not count

equality with God

9 And for this God raised

him high, and gave him

the name which is above

all other names; 10 so that all beings in the

heavens, on earth and in

the underworld, should

bend the knee at the

name of Jesus 11 and that every tongue

should acknowledge Jesus

Christ as Lord, to the glory

of God the Father. 12 So, my dear friends, you

have always been

obedient; your obedience

must not be limited to

times when I am present.

Now that I am absent it

must be more in evidence,

so work out your salvation

in fear and trembling. 13 It is God who, for his

own generous purpose,

gives you the intention

free of murmuring and

reason to be proud on the

Day of Christ, for it will not

be for nothing that I have

run the race and toiled so

hard.17 Indeed, even if my

blood has to be poured as a

libation over your sacrifice

and the offering of your

faith, then I shall be glad

and join in your rejoicing-18

and in the same way, you

must be glad and join in my

rejoicing.19 I hope, in the

Lord Jesus, to send Timothy

to you soon, so that my

mind may be set at rest

when I hear how you are.20

There is nobody else that I

can send who is like him

and cares as sincerely for

your well-being;21 they all

want to work for

themselves, not for Jesus

Christ.22 But you know what

sort of person he has

proved himself, working

with me for the sake of the

gospel like a son with his

father.23 That is the man,

then, that I am hoping to

send to you immediately I

can make out what is going

to happen to me;24 but I am

confident in the Lord that I

shall come myself, too,

before long.

Ἐπαφρόδιτον τὸν

ἀδελφὸν καὶ

συνεργὸν καὶ

συστρατιώτην μου,

ὑμῶν δὲ ἀπόστολον

καὶ λειτουργὸν τῆς

χρείας μου, πέμψαι

πρὸς ὑμᾶς, 26 ἐπειδὴ

ἐπιποθῶν ἦν πάντας

ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἀδημονῶν

διότι ἠκούσατε ὅτι

ἠσθένησε. 27 καὶ

γὰρ ἠσθένησε

παραπλήσιον

θανάτου· ἀλλ’ ὁ

Θεὸς αὐτὸν ἠλέησεν,

οὐκ αὐτὸν δὲ μόνον,

ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐμέ, ἵνα μὴ

λύπην ἐπὶ λύπην

σχῶ. 28

σπουδαιοτέρως οὖν

ἔπεμψα αὐτόν, ἵνα

ἰδόντες αὐτὸν πάλιν

χαρῆτε, κἀγὼ

ἀλυπότερος ὦ. 29

προσδέχεσθε οὖν

αὐτὸν ἐν Κυρίῳ μετὰ

πάσης χαρᾶς, καὶ

τοὺς τοιούτους

ἐντίμους ἔχετε, 30

ὅτι διὰ τὸ ἔργον τοῦ

Χριστοῦ μέχρι

θανάτου ἤγγισε,

παραβουλευσάμενος

τῇ ψυχῇ ἵνα

ἀναπληρώσῃ τὸ

ὑμῶν ὑστέρημα τῆς

πρός με λειτουργίας.

25 Nevertheless I thought

it essential to send to you

Epaphroditus, my brother

and fellow-worker and

companion-in-arms since

he came as your

representative to look

after my needs; 26 because he was missing

you all and was worrying

because you had heard

that he was ill. 27 Indeed he was seriously

ill and nearly died; but

God took pity on him --

and not only on him but

also on me, to spare me

one grief on top of

another. 28 So I am sending him

back as promptly as I can

so that you will have the

joy of seeing him again,

and that will be some

comfort to me in my

distress. 29 Welcome him in the

Lord, then, with all joy;

hold people like him in

honour, 30 because it was for

Christ's work that he came

so near to dying, risking

his life to do the duty to

me which you could not

do yourselves.

1 Finally, brothers, I wish

you joy in the Lord. To write

to you what I have already

written before is no trouble

to me and to you will be a

protection. 2 Beware of dogs! Beware

of evil workmen! Beware of

self-mutilators! 3 We are the true people of

the circumcision since we

worship by the Spirit of God

and make Christ Jesus our

only boast, not relying on

physical qualifications, 4 although, I myself could

rely on these too. If anyone

does claim to rely on them,

my claim is better. 5 Circumcised on the eighth

day of my life, I was born of

the race of Israel, of the

tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew

born of Hebrew parents. In

the matter of the Law, I was

a Pharisee; 6 as for religious fervour, I

was a persecutor of the

Church; as for the

uprightness embodied in

the Law, I was faultless. 7 But what were once my

assets I now through Christ

Jesus count as losses.

هِْي جَِِِخ الْخِزَبىِ هَخْزُْىٌ 5فِي الْيَْْمِ الثَّبهِيِ، هِْي جٌِْشِ إِصْشَائِيلَ، هِيْ صِجْطِ ثٌِْيَبهِنيَ،

نيَ. هِيْ ػِجْشَاًِيٌّ هِيَ الْؼِجْشَاًِِيّ

يضِيٌّ.ِ جَِِخِ الٌَّبهُِْس فَشّ

هِْي جَِِِخ الْغَيْشَِح ُهضْطَُِِذ 6 ِالْنٌَِيضَخِ. هِيْ جَِِخِ الْجِشّ

8 Yes, I will go further:

because of the supreme

advantage of knowing

Christ Jesus my Lord, I

count everything else as

loss. For him I have

accepted the loss of all

other things, and look on

them all as filth if only I can

gain Christ 9 and be given a place in

him, with the uprightness I

have gained not from the

Law, but through faith in

Christ, an uprightness from

God, based on faith, 10 that I may come to know

him and the power of his

resurrection, and partake of

his sufferings by being

moulded to the pattern of

his death, 11 striving towards the goal

of resurrection from the

dead. 12 Not that I have secured it

already, nor yet reached my

goal, but I am still pursuing

it in the attempt to take

hold of the prize for which

Christ Jesus took hold of

me.13 Brothers, I do not

reckon myself as having

taken hold of it; I can only

say that forgetting all that

lies behind me, and

straining forward to what

lies in front,

14 I am racing towards the

finishing-point to win the

prize of God's heavenly call

in Christ Jesus. 15 So this is the way in

which all of us who are

mature should be thinking,

and if you are still thinking

differently in any way, then

God has yet to make this

matter clear to you. 16 Meanwhile, let us go

forward from the point we

have each attained. 17 Brothers, be united in

imitating me. Keep your

eyes fixed on those who act

according to the example

you have from me. 18 For there are so many

people of whom I have

often warned you, and now

I warn you again with tears

in my eyes, who behave like

the enemies of Christ's

cross. 19 They are destined to be

lost; their god is the

stomach; they glory in what

they should think shameful,

since their minds are set on

earthly things.

ِمًُُْْا هُزَوَثّ

َّالَدِظُْا َْحُ، أَيَُِّب اإلِخْزَا مَوَب الَّزِييَ يَضرِيُّىَ ُنَ

ًَذْيُ ػٌَِْذمُْن قُذَّْحٌ.ألَىَّ مَثرِيِييَ يَِضريُّىَ 18

ُُنْ لَُنْن ٌْذُ أَْرمُشُ هِوَّْي مُهِشَاسًا، َّاآلىَ أَرْمُُشُُْن أَيًْضب

ُُنْ أَْػذَاءُ صَلِيِت ثَبمِيًب َّ ، الْوَضِيخِ،

اّلَزِييَ ًَِِبيَزُُِنُ 19الَِْالَكُ، الَّزِييَ ِإلُُِِْن ثَطٌُُِْنْ َّهَْجذُُُْن فِي

زَنِشُّىَ خِزْيِِِنِ، الَّزِيَي يَفْ فِي األَسْضِيَّبدِ.

μετασχηματίσει τὸ

σῶμα τῆς

ταπεινώσεως ἡμῶν

ἀγαπητοὶ καὶ

ἐπιπόθητοι, χαρὰ

καὶ στέφανός μου,

οὕτω στήκετε ἐν

Κυρίῳ, ἀγαπητοί. 2

Εὐοδίαν παρακαλῶ

καὶ Συντύχην

παρακαλῶ τὸ αὐτὸ

φρονεῖν ἐν Κυρίῳ· 3

ναὶ ἐρωτῶ καὶ σέ,

Σύζυγε γνήσιε,

συλλαμβάνου

αὐταῖς, αἵτινες ἐν τῷ

εὐαγγελίῳ

συνήθλησάν μοι

μετὰ καὶ Κλήμεντος

1 So then, my brothers and

dear friends whom I miss so

much, my joy and my

crown, hold firm in the

Lord, dear friends. 2 I urge Euodia, and I urge

Syntyche to come to

agreement with each other

in the Lord; 3 and I ask you, Syzygus,

really to be a 'partner' and

help them. These women

have struggled hard for the

gospel with me, along with

Clement and all my other

fellow-workers, whose

names are written in the

book of life. 4 Always be joyful, then, in

the Lord; I repeat, be joyful. 5 Let your good sense be

obvious to everybody. The

Lord is near. 6 Never worry about

anything; but tell God all

your desires of every kind in

prayer and petition shot

through with gratitude, 7 and the peace of God

which is beyond our

understanding will guard

your hearts and your

thoughts in Christ Jesus.

ُكمَّ 4ِاِفْشَدُٕا فِي انشَّبّدِنيٍ، َٔأَلُٕلُ أَيْضًا:

افْشَدُٕا.نِيَكٍُْ دِْهًُكُْى َيعْشُٔفًا 5

عُِْذَ َجًِيِع انَُّاسِ. اَنشَّبُّ الَ ذَْٓرًَُّٕا تِشَيْءٍ، 6شِيةٌ.لَ

شَيْءٍ تِانصَّالَِج ِتَمْ فِي كُّم

َٔانذُّعَاءِ يََع انشُّكْشِ، نِرُعْهَْى طِهْثَاذُكُىْ نََذٖ انهِّ.

َٔسَالَُو انهِّ اّنَزِٖ َيفُٕقُ 7كُمَّ َعمْم، يَذْفَُظ لُهُٕتَكُىْ

ἀδελφοί, ὅσα ἐστὶν

ἀληθῆ, ὅσα σεμνά,

ὅσα δίκαια, ὅσα

ἁγνά, ὅσα

προσφιλῆ, ὅσα

εὔφημα, εἴ τις ἀρετὴ

καὶ εἴ τις ἔπαινος,

ταῦτα λογίζεσθε· 9 ἃ

καὶ ἐμάθετε καὶ

παρελάβετε καὶ

ἠκούσατε καὶ εἴδετε

ἐν ἐμοί, ταῦτα

ἐφ’ ᾧ καὶ ἐφρονεῖτε,

ἠκαιρεῖσθε δέ. 11

οὐχ ὅτι καθ’

ὑστέρησιν λέγω· ἐγὼ

γὰρ ἔμαθον ἐν οἷς

εἰμι αὐτάρκης εἶναι.

12 οἶδα καὶ

ταπεινοῦσθαι, οἶδα

καὶ περισσεύειν· ἐν

παντὶ καὶ ἐν πᾶσι

μεμύημαι καὶ

χορτάζεσθαι καὶ

πεινᾶν, καὶ

περισσεύειν καὶ

ὑστερεῖσθαι· 13

πάντα ἰσχύω ἐν τῷ

ἐνδυναμοῦντί με

Χριστῷ. 14 πλὴν

καλῶς ἐποιήσατε

συγκοινωνήσαντές

μου τῇ θλίψει.

8 Finally, brothers, let your

minds be filled with

everything that is true,

everything that is

honourable, everything that

is upright and pure,

everything that we love and

admire -- with whatever is

good and praiseworthy.9

Keep doing everything you

learnt from me and were

told by me and have heard or

seen me doing. Then the God

of peace will be with you.10

As for me, I am full of joy in

the Lord, now that at last

your consideration for me

has blossomed again; though

I recognise that you really did

have consideration before,

but had no opportunity to

show it.11 I do not say this

because I have lacked

anything; I have learnt to

manage with whatever I

have.12 I know how to live

modestly, and I know how to

live luxuriously too: in every

way now I have mastered the

secret of all conditions: full

stomach and empty

stomach, plenty and

poverty.13 There is nothing I

cannot do in the One who

strengthens me.14 All the

same, it was good of you to

share with me in my

hardships.

، َٔنكٍِْ انَّزِٖ كُُْرُىْ ذَعْرَََُُُّٕ نَىْ ذَكٍُْ نَكُىْ فُشْصَحٌ.

11 ٍْ ي أَلُُٕل يِِنَيْسَ أََّ

ي لَذْ ِجَِٓحِ ادْرَِياجٍ، َفإَِّ

ذَعَهًَّْدُ أٌَْ أَكٌَُٕ يُكْرَفًِيا أَعْشِفُ أٌَْ 12يِّ.تًَِا أَََا فِ

أَذَّضِعَ َٔأَعْشِفُ أَيْضًا أٌَْ شَيْءٍ

ِأَسْرَفْضِمَ. فِي كُمّ

َٔفِي جًَِيعِ األَشْيَاِء لَذْ ذَذَسَّتْدُ أٌَْ أَشْثَعَ َٔأٌَْ

أَجُٕعَ، َٔأٌَْ أَسْرَفْضَِم َٔأٌَْ أَسْرَطِيعُ كُمَّ 13أََْمُصَ.

شَيْءٍ فِي انًَْسِيخِ انَّزِٖ يُِي.

ِغَيْشَ أَََّكُىْ فَعَهْرُىْ 14يُمَّٕ

كْرُىْ فِي دَسًَُا إِرِ اشْرَشَ ضِيمَرِي.
