Click Special Alarm Switch Valid to check whether the setting of the GMLOW (GateMagnetism{Low Level}) is consistent with the actual valid level of the door sensor.

If the alarm can be reported and cleared normally, end the checking task.

If the alarm cannot be reported normally, reconnect the related monitoring signal cables.

This describes how to commission the base station in the transmission unavailable scenario.In the initial phase of the commissioning, the transmission cables between the base station

and the BSC/RNC are not properly connected. The upgrading of the base station softwareand downloading of the data configuration file can be implemented on the SMT/LMT onthe base station side. After the downloading and upgrading, you can check the hardwarestatus through the LEDs. In the later phase of the commissioning, the transmission cablebetween the base station and the BSC/RNC is properly connected. You can commissionthe base station on the remote maintenance terminal.

Remote Site Maintenance: maintaining the BTS through the LMT on the BSC side

This describes how to set the IP address of the Site Maintenance Terminal PC to the samenetwork segment as the IP address (192.168.0.72/255.255.255.0) of the BTS.

The site management right refers to the right to set the parameters of a BTS. After a BTS ispowered on, the remote Site Maintenance System obtains the site management right by

default. Before operating the BTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal System, youmust obtain the site management right first.

When operating a BTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal System, pay attention tothe following:

Obtain the site management right before writing data; otherwise, you may not be able towrite data, for example, load a software or activate a software. You can read data fromthe BTS without the site management right.

After a BTS is powered on, the remote Site Maintenance System obtains the sitemanagement right by default and performs all operations directly. Before operating theBTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal System, you must obtain the site management

right first. You cannot operate the BTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal System andthe remote Site Maintenance System at the same time.

After completing the local maintenance, you must release the site management right.
