A battle goes on inside us all, thegrandfather begins. It is a battle betweentwo wolves. One wolf is the embodiment

of everything evil, like hate, anger, jealousy, resentment, greed, arrogance,lying, and selfishness. The other wolf isthe embodiment of everything good, likelove, joy, peace, hope, serenity, humility,kindness, empathy, generosity,compassion, truth, and faith.

The grandfather replies, The oneyou feed.

How can you tell these two wolves apartso youll know which to feed? Whenever you have a thought that causes you to feeldiscontent, bitter, unhappy, or critical,

you can be sure its the wrong wolf,stalking his prey. Dont be his next meal!Feed the other one instead by filling yourmind and heart with positive and faith- building thoughts.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble,whatever is right, whatever is pure,whatever is lovely, whatever isadmirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about suchthings.
