青い海をバックに、人気者のイルカたちがダイナミックなショーを披露します。ウミガメ館では、5種類のウミガメを間近で観察できます。マナティー館では、人魚伝説のモデルとなったアメリカマナティーを飼育しています。

The popular dolphins put on a dynamic show with the blue ocean in the background. Five types of turtles can be observed up close at the Sea Turtle Pool. American Manatees, which are said to be the model of “A Legend of Mermaids”, are raised at the Manatee Pool.

沖縄美ら海水族館の眼下に広がるエメラルドグリーンの海と真っ白な砂浜のコントラストが美しいビーチ。遊泳期間は4月～10月で、安心して海水浴をお楽しみいただけます。

A beach s t re tche s be low the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and features a beautiful contrast of the emerald green ocean and the pure white sand. It is open from April through October when you can safely enjoy bathing in this beauti-ful sea.

かつて太平洋の大海原を渡った先人たちの知恵と勇気を、豊富な展示で紹介します。プラネタリウム番組「沖縄ぬちゅら星」では、今の時期に沖縄で見られる星たちを、沖縄に伝わる民話とともに紹介します。

The wisdom and courage of the ancestors that had crossed the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean is introduced with plentiful displays. The planetarium program “Okinawa’s Beauti-ful Stars” introduces the stars that can be seen in Okinawa during the current season along with Okinawan folktales.

「沖縄の海との出会い」がテーマの世界最大級の水族館。サンゴ礁の浅瀬から黒潮の大海原そして深海へ、沖縄の海を深く旅する感覚でご覧いただけます。ジンベエザメやマンタが悠々と泳ぐ世界最大級の水槽は必見です。

One of the world’s largest aquariums themed on “The Encounter with the Sea of Okinawa”. Enjoy the sensation of going on a journey in the sea of Okinawa, from the shallow waters to the open ocean of the Kuroshio Current, and on to the deep sea. One of the largest tanks where whale sharks and mantas leisurely swim is a must-see.

懐かしい風が通りすぎていく時のなかで、心のふるさととの出会いがあります。琉球王国時代の沖縄の村落が再現されたノスタルジックな空間で、おばぁと一緒に三線や踊りを体験。昔の沖縄の暮らしをお楽しみください。

Encounter a spiritual home in a village as the nostalgic breeze passes by.Experience Sanshin and dancing together with the older female generation in the nostalgic atmo-sphere of an Okinawan village reproduced from that of the Ryukyu Kingdom period.
