Why Mah Jong Cards?

Being a Mah Jong fan I amalways keen to play the gamewherever I go, and carrying a setof bone and bamboo tiles aroundis, Im sure youll agree, often notthe most practical solution. Sowhy not play instead with cards?

The Mah Jong Set

This set contains 144 small cards,including seasons and flowers,and an extra 8 jokers.

I have simply used the set aspresented in the WindowsTrueType Mah Jong font freelyavailable fromhttp://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~mn8y-kt/font/mahj_tt.zip

This produces a clean, simple anduniversal design and also moreimportantly keeps the file size to aminimum.

Given the limitation of the font all

seasons and flowers are identical,distinguished by numbers andcolours.

Format

As TrueType fonts can only bedisplayed in one colour I haveadopted the following colourscheme with thanks to TomSloper for keeping me right.

Bamboo GreenDots Black

Characters RedWinds BlueDragons as dragonSeasons BlackJokers Brown

I have also included in the centreof the cards a code according tothe cards type:
