Israels National Steering Committee for Earthquake Preparedness together with the Master's Program on Coping with Emergencies and Disasters of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Haifa, invite you to the conference on Operational Earthquakes Forecasting.Operational earthquakes forecasting focuses on low-probability, time limited earthquakes forecasting, which enhances the need for an adequate decision making under uncertainty, in order to provide both the emergency units and the public with relevant information. The conference will be held at University of Haifa, Israel )Safdie Auditorium, Multipurpose Building(, June 20 - 22, 2016 and will include two days of lectures, and a day dedicated to a guided tour of historical earthquakes sites in Northern Israel.Looking forward to seeing you in Haifa!
