About the album:

The concert season of Roma, with an absolutely importable event: the concert of Il Quint’Etto on 6

Jan 2009. The quintet formed from university professors of the Orchestra of the National Academy of

St. Cecilia who perform in various kinds of musical, from the Rock to the Jazz, the Classic to the Pop

form five musicians by their various personal experiences. They are fusion on the side of classical

music to the other side of jazz music through their experience accustomed on classical

music to the vivacity of the improvisation. Il Quint’Etto has preformed absolutely unexpected

version’s famous pieces of Glenn Miller, Tom Coster, Jimmy Giuffré, Domenico Modugno, Astor

Piazzolla, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Renato Carosone, Django Reinhard, Gorni Kramer and many

others, e.g: Cartoon Fantasy: Melody from all classic cartoon theme, Latin Strings: Melody from all

popular Latin pieces. Il Quint’Etto has only perform the pieces arranged by their own members, they

has regularly perform in the most prestigious associations concert event and obtaining succeeded in

public and critics from every performance.

About Il Quint’etto:

Formed from university professors of National Academy of St Cecilia, the Il Quint’Etto is a quintet by

five musicians whose studied classical music in professional music conservatory, they have define

their special interpretations of classical music and jazz music by their personal experiences

after their graduated, and also developed intelligent performance experience to bringing

audience into their " fusion" music world. Il Quint’Etto has made a directory after their first time

tutti , from the rock unbridled of Elvis Presley to the reworks of music’s of W.A.Mozart, passing for

Brazilian pop music, swing, blues, and tango Argentine, between most famous and beautiful music. Il

Quint’Etto has regularly perform in the most prestigious associations concert event and obtaining

succeeded in public and critics from every performance.
