FLORIDA SOUTHERN ALL-AMERICANS AND ALL-REGION PLAYERS
AMY CLAMPITT‐HOLSENBECK 2007 Daktronics First Team All‐American
In 2007, Amy Clampitt‐Holsenbeck became Florida Southern’s first women’s soccer All‐American as the senior put together perhaps the best all‐around season in school history. Not only was she voted the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player‐of‐the‐Year, she was also the team’s leading goal scorer and finished the season with nine goals and 20 points. Those were the highest totals for any defender in all of NCAA Division II. She helped the Mocs post a 1.18 goals against average, set a school record with seven shutouts, and allow just 9.6 shots per game. All of that was achieved in her first season playing as a defender.
ERIN HOPKINS 2008 NSCAA Third Team All‐American
2008 Second Team Academic All‐American
In helping lead Florida Southern to its first ever NCAA Tournament, senior center midfielder Erin Hopkins set the school’s single season scoring record with 36 points. She scored 12 goals with 12 assists, becoming the first player in team history to reach double figures in both those categories in the same season, and was the first Moccasin to be named First Team All‐SSC in back‐to‐back seasons. Hopkins was also an outstanding student at Florida Southern, and her list of 2008 awards included Second Team Academic All‐American. She was the first player in the program’s history to achieve that honor.

Did You Know? Only one time has Florida Southern been involved in a game where each team scored four goals. In 1999, the Moccasins defeated Rollins at Barnett Field, 5-4, with the teams combining for five goals in the final 17 minutes, and the Tars scoring twice in the final six minutes to cut the gap to one. Liane Muise had two goals and one assist for the Mocs, while Alicia Milyak had a hat trick for Rollins. One year later, Rollins took things even further with a 9-7 loss to Tampa.

Despite playing only one year between theposts, her seven shutouts still rank second on the team’scareer list.

Did You Know? In 2011, senior defender Lexie Bottomley became only the second field player in team history to play every minute of every game. Nicole Brant, another defender, did so as both a junior (2003) and senior (2004), a stretch of 34 straight games.

Princess Haley was a 3-time All-South Region forward who is FloridaSouthern’s career leader in goals andpoints.
Did You Know? Kim Fish stopped five penalty kicks in her career, the most of any Moccasin goalkeeper. Those five saves came against 10 attempts from 2003-06, and also give her the best percentage. Martina Tangen Billing nearly matched Fish by stopping four in her career from 2008-11.

FLORIDA SOUTHERN MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS
Fastest Goal at the Start of a Match ..................................... 9/30/09 In a 5‐0 win over Flagler in 2009, Princess Haley became the first (and so far, only) player in team history to score a goal in the first minute of the game. It came just 40 seconds after the opening kickoff, and though it had never happened before then, it nearly happened a second time in the same game. Just 28 seconds later, Renee Heacock scored again for the Moccasins for the second fastest goal in team history. The Mocs then added a third goal when Ashlie Haas gave them a 3‐0 lead only 3:24 into the game. Defensively, Florida Southern has allowed a first‐minute goal on three occasions, most recently in 2013, when Rollins scored 43 seconds into the game en route to a 3‐2 win. The first time it happened was even faster, as Tampa’s Stephanie Keating needed just 14 seconds to score in 1999.
Shortest Time Between Goals .............................................. 9/30/09 Considering the way the 2009 game against Flagler started, it should come as no surprise that Princess Haley and Renee Heacock also set a school record for the shortest time between two goals. By scoring just 28 seconds apart, they broke the previous record of 34 seconds set in 1998 by Noreen Drenthe and Valerie Krajcsik in a 4‐1 win over Embry‐Riddle. There have been three other occasions in which the Moccasins have scored two goals in less than a minute, with Haley and Alex Hoover the last to do it on October 17, 2009 at Saint Leo.
Shortest Time Between Goals by the Same Player ................ 10/4/06 Though she would later go on to be the 2007 SSC Defensive Player‐of‐the‐Year, Amy Clampitt‐Holsenbeck first put her name in the Florida Southern record book for something she did on offense. One year earlier, in a 7‐1 win over Warner Southern, she became the first player to score two goals in less than a minute; those goals came 41 seconds apart and sent her on the way to the first of her two career hat tricks. Since then, one other player has managed to score two goals in less than a minute’s time. Liz Gorman joined her in that
category by scoring 55 seconds apart in a 4‐2 victory at Lynn in 2008. She too went on to score a third goal later in the game.

Did You Know? Only one freshman in team history has ever scored two goals in her college debut. It happened in 2003, when Taylor Greene came off the bench for two goals and one assist to lead the Moccasins to a 6-0 win over Fontbonne (MO). Four other freshmen have scored one goal in their first collegiate game, most recently Princess Haley in 2007.

Combined with her totals from Plymouth State (NH) and LeMoyne (NY), Christine Rizzieri finished her college coaching career in 11th place on the all‐time career wins list among NCAA Division II coaches with 175. She also had 227 wins as a college softball coach before arriving FSC.
Lakeland native Ben Strawbridge took over the program in 2006, and took the Moccasins to the first three NCAA Tournament appearances in team history (2008, 2009, and 2010). The Mocs were nationally ranked for the first time in 2008, and reached as high as #12 in 2010.
Brittany Jones has been the Moccasins’ head coach for two years, guiding them to the SSC Tournament semifinals in each of those seasons. In 2012, she led them to a third‐place finish in the regular season, four spots higher than they were picked to finish, and in 2013, they became the first #6 seed to ever win a game in the SSC Tournament.
Captains Linda Hoglund, Christina Crooks, Erin Hopkins, Liz Gorman & Melissa Kelly (left to right) led the 2008 Moccasins to the NCAA Tournament.

In 2013, midfielder Kristy Legoas tied for the team lead in goals (4), assists (5) and points (13), the first freshman to ever do that in all three categories. She was one of five Moccasins to score four goals in 2013.
Joanie DeHaven was the Mocs’ leading scorer in both 2002 and 2003. Her 29 career goals rank second in team history, and she’s tied for third with 68 points.
