Discipline and Consequences

When a community agreement has been broken teacher will give the student the following:

1. A visual or verbal cue2. A reminder of the broken agreement3. A Think Sheet (parent communication)4. If the problem persists, we will have a

meeting with parents/guardians, teachers, and, if needed, the principle

5. Serious infractions will result in a phone call to parents as well as a Discipline Referral

Basic Literacy Skills to master

Students are expected to be able to:

• decode and write all the Hiragana and Katakana with 100% of accuracy and fluency from memory.• read and write learned Kanji from memory• use three writing system appropriately• compose paragrah writing• read and comprehend various types of texts• pass district speech work sample
