1. low birth weight & smaller head circumferences (intake caffeine >300 mg/day)
2. spontaneous abortion (intake of caffeine about 48-162 mg/day, both 1 month before and during pregnancy)
3. about 28% of the women who were unable to get pregnant were heavy coffee drinkers, while only 6% of the women who became pregnant were heavy coffee drinkers
