WTC 2030: hoe ziet dat eruit?
2
|
Hoe kunnen we daar komen?• Door na te denken over (open) innovatie
• first things first: innovatie-agenda
• WTC-product/process portfolio
• Door te ontwerpen voor innovaties
• WTC is een ill-defined wicked problem
• theoretische kennis (communicatie, social studies of science, educatie,
marketing, etc.) gecombineerd met ervaring, creativiteit en intuïtie
• Vandaag de eerste stap in WTC-ingenieurschap?
• master Science Communication / communicatie, innovatie, marketing,
design & professionaliseren WTC-communicatie professional
• minor Communication Design for Innovation / communicatie, design,
samenwerken/netwerken, professionaliseren ingenieur
• onderzoek is gericht op professionaliseren, responsible innovation,
netwerken & decision support

Programma
stakeholders: co-creatie?

Timmermansoog
“We give room to feelings and intuition as they do at art schools, but
simultaneaously require students to develop a sound argument, in
order to justify and explain every decision they make, which means
understanding where each decision comes from and what its
consequences are.”
(Hekkert & Van Dijk, 2011)
Praktijk = Dmeth x (Theorie + Ervaring + Intuïtie)creativiteit

-processen/interactie & diensten (vergl. social design/ service design)

Tekenen: divergerend denken
• Hoe ziet het proces van wetenschap eruit in 2030? (10.min)
• Hoe ziet het ondersteunende wetenschapscommunicatie-
proces er dan uit? (20.min)
• Hoe werken we in 2030 samen met collega’s, partners in
onderzoek, industrie, overheid, etc.? (15.min)
• Prioriteren, aanvullen (15.min)

Controversial science & technology
14
|
Responsible innovation movement• Hunter Dupree, 1986
• “Somewhere, perhaps in the hesitant beginnings of the technology assessment movement, under that or another name, a set of practices will be accepted by which every research project, no matter how narrowly focused on physical hardware, will have an environmental and a social science evaluation built into it.”
• European Commission – FP7: Science & Society• “...encourage actors in their own disciplines and
fields to participate in developing Science in Society perspectives from the very beginning of the conception of their activities.”
