Xiamen's commerce bureau announced last week thatthe total volume of Xiamen foreign trade in 2018 broke the600 billion yuan mark, rising by 3.2 percent year-on-year.Export volume stood at 333.8 billion yuan while import vol-ume hit 266.3 billion yuan.

vice satisfaction kicked off recently in Beijing.Hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sci-

ences, the China Social Sciences Academic Press andTencent, the event included the official debut of the an-nual Blue Book on Public Service. a ranked list of pub-lic service satisfaction based on online surveys cover-ing 38 major domestic cities.

Lhasa topped the list, followed by Xiamen in sec-ond place. Rounding out the top ten are Ningbo, Hang-

zhou, Zhuhai, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Yinch-uan and Fuzhou. The city survey included perfor-mance appraisals based on categories such as publictransport, safety, local housing and social support ser-vices.
