Binge on blueberries! Blueberry extract can improve short-term memory loss. Widely available, so there’s no excuse!
Freshen up your brainpower! A great source of vitamin K, which is known to enhance cognitive function and improve brainpower.
Not a big fan of eating !sh? Well, just so you know the omega-3 fatty acids found in oily !sh are crucial to the health of our nervous system and are known for their brain-boosting potential. Fish also contains iodine, which is known to improve mental clarity.
Walk into a room and forget why you’re there? Forget what this article’s about? One study found that women who increased their folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 intake showed an improvement in recalling information compared to women who were not taking a supplement.
Got lycopene? Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant found in tomatoes that could help protect against damage to your brain cells. Slice them and put them on your salad and sandwich, or eat them on their own.
Go nuts! Good intake of vitamin E might help to prevent poor memory and there is no better food than nuts that is a great source of vitamin E.
Pick up pumpkin seeds. Just a handful a day is all you need to get your recommended daily amount of zinc, vital for enhancing memory and thinking skills.
Sprinkle sage onto meat, eggs, or add it to your pasta sauce. Sage has long had a reputation for improving memory so it could be worth adding fresh sage to your diet.

CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE BARS
(recipe from www.pillsbury.com/recipes)
Ingredients2 rolls of your favorite pre-madechocolate chip cookie dough 2 8oz pkgs. of cream cheese1 egg3/4 cup sugar1 tsp. vanilla
Directions1. Slice one roll of cookie dough
thinly and layer on the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. (It’s easier to slice when taken directly out of the fridge. If it sits on the counter for too long, it gets soft and too messy to slice.)
2. Beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla. Then pour over the first cookie dough layer.
3. Slice the second roll of cookie dough and place overtop the creamcheese mixture. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
