Public Speaking VS Conversation

• A public speech is usually directed at more listeners.

• Public speaking is relatively uninterrupted discourse.

• Public speaking requires intensified volume of voice and bodily action.

• Public speeches are mostly prepared ones.

Public Speaking VS Reading Aloud

• Primary concern for public speaking is communication communication between you and your audiencebetween you and your audience.

• Primary concern for reading aloud is to convey the message of the the author author to the audience.

• Public speaker gets the right to choose (words, sentences, voice, pace and body action).

Types of Public Speaking

• Speaking to inform (objects, processes, events, concepts) (D2_07)
