Cambridgewalzen VEGA & VIRGO
Ploughing is the cornerstone of traditional tillage technology.Simply said, this is a working operation that turns the soil, mixes and aerates it. The importance of ploughing, however, goes much further and even today it has a unique place in modern agronomy and agricultural technology. Given the wide range of tractors, and also depending on the size of the land, OPaLL-AGRI produces 4 basic types of plough. These are the JUPITER II 120 and JUPITER II 140 mounted ploughs and the ORION 180 and EUROPA II 180 semi-mounted ploughs.
The benefits of ploughing with a plough:• Turning of topsoil
Bringing structural soil to the surface Bringing up nutrients that were drifted to the bottom of the topsoil
• Loosening up the topsoil Better infiltration of precipitation Aeration – change of the humification processes into the mineralization process -forming nutrients It prevents soil compaction due to the use of heavy agricultural equipment
• Working in crop residues, manure and fertilizers Saving ammonia The conversion of organic matter into nutrients and humus
• The effect on phytopathology Working in crop residues prevents the development of diseases Along with plant residues, pests and weeds are also washed into the soil As one of the few technologies which reliably kills rodents
OPaLL-AGRI REVERSIBLE PLOUGHS
What is important for proper assessment of ploughing, is its quality, which is significantly affected not only by the design of the plough, but also by proper selection of plough bodies. The assortment of OPaLL-AGRI s.r.o. includes 6 types of plough bodies. A pr-operly selected type of plough body guarantees a good job in the particular soil conditions – good slice crumbling and high-quality covering of crop residues.
For high quality ploughing, it is also necessary to comply with the limit plough ratio, i. e. the ratio of the depth of ploughing and the ploughing width of one ploughshare. The engaging plough body width should be at least 1.27 times greater than the depth of ploughing.
Types of plough bodies:Plough bodies intended for lighter to medium soils, but also heavier crumbly soil.

OPaLL-AGRI JUPITER II 120 mounted ploughs are designed especially for lower power class tractors. Thanks to the 3 + 1 modular sys-tem they can be connected to tractors from approximately 70 k, while its design stresses the reduction in weight of the plough while maintaining optimum mechanical properties. For this reason, they are also preferred for tractors with a light front part, in particular with four-cylinder engines. The basic equipment includes the frame of the profile 120x120x10mm with a mechanical variable system for changing the cutting width of the plough bodies. Depending on the type of tractor and the quantity of crop residues, JUPITER II 120 ploughs are produced with spacing of 90 cm and 100 cm between the plough bodies. Ploughs can be fitted with two types of protection against damaging the bodies - shearhub or spring mechanism. The depth wheel can be exchanged for the combined wheel, which can be used for transport.By using a «memory» cylinder, we have reduced the need for lift height and load of arms of the tractor from side shocks, while maintaining maximum operator comfort due to one hydraulic circuit during the process of plough rotation.

JUPITER II 120Mounted reversible ploughs
OPaLL - AGRI JUPITER II 140 mounted ploughs are designed to be connected to larger heavier tractors. Thanks to the 4 + 1 modular system and robust design, they are particularly suitable for large farms and agricultural businesses. These ploughs are recommended for tractors with an output of 125 hp and above. The basic equipment includes the frame of the profile 140x140x10mm with a mechanical variable system for changing the cutting width of the plough bodies. .r.o. OPaLL - AGRI ORION 180 semi-mounted ploughs are designed to be connected to tractors with
an output of 145 hp and above. The rotation of the plough is ensured by two hydraulic pistons mounted on the rocker mechanism. The modular construction of the plough frame makes it pos-sible to produce the variant of 5-9 plough bodies, while at any time during use it can be shortened or extended. Thanks to the unique design, subject to the change of the number of plough bodies, the position of supporting wheels can be adjusted, or to a supporting wheel that can be set to finish ploughing the edges of the land with the last ploughshare. The basic equipment includes the frame of the profile 180x180x10mm with a mechanical variable system for changing the cutting width of the plough bodies. The angle of the front body is adjusted through a hydraulic circle of the operator cabin. When using the plough on sloping terrain, the supporting wheel can be turned so as to prevent the back of the plough from sliding diagonally down the slope.

The PLUTO furrow press is a device that is used as an additional tool to ploughs for crumbling slice, so ploughing with complete sowing preparation is performed in one operation. It is also con-nectable directly to the tractor, using a three-point hitch. When ploughing the soil is loosened, crumbled, and the volume of the pores increases. Because the furrow press works directly behind the plough, its work is indispensable. At the most opportune mo-ment, at the optimum moisture, the soil at the depth of bedrock is reinforced again and large lumps are crumbled. Forming of the optimal soil structure is facilitated and its drying is prevented. Crumbling then ensures a larger surface compaction and its crumbly structure.
BENEFITS:• A new way of arresting the pick-up arms ensures reliable
pick up even on hilly terrain• The plough’s robust pick-up arm is equipped with a tension
spring which absorbs the shock of capture• Modular system design makes it possible to easily adjust
the working width of the furrow press • The cleaning device cuts the stuck land from the wheels
and prevents their clogging

Innovation in soil cultivation – a reduction in the number of op-erations - Ideal for combining working processes
Convincing advantages:• Cutting and alignment of coarse lumps directly during
ploughing• Faster drying of the soil allows early land preparation for
sowing• Preparing the ground for the subsequent use of active and
passive tools for sowing soil preparation• The levelled winter furrow allows early spring fertilization• It ensures the best conditions for spring shallow cultivation
of the soil, which maintains soil structure and ensures good water management
• The devices can be mounted to the ploughs with shear or non-stop protection of different brands
Standard equipment• Levelling bar with centrally adjustable knives• Rotating frame with height- adjustable articulated arm• Mechanical or hydraulic control of working depth
The patented clod crusher consists of height- adjustable levelling bar mounted with blades made of special steel with long life. The position of the blades to the angle to the axis of the drive can be changed by central control and adapted for all soil condi-tions. At low drawbar consumption, the clod crusher allows you to achieve significant savings in land preparation – it reduces lumps, levels the surface and saves soil moisture.

The SATURN III combined cultivators are representatives of advanced technology for perfect sowing soil preparation. A suitable combination of working bodies results in creating a uniform seedbed during one crossing of the field. These are passive cultivators for complete seedbed preparation. The required quality of work is achieved with fewer operations than with existing machines (gate, combine cultivators) while achieving substantially greater area efficiency than with machines driven by power take-off shaft tractor. During work, the accurate required depth of loosening is maintained, which is especially necessary in shallow seedbed preparation, such as for sugar beet or rape.

The system tool carrier serves as a chassis to create a machine of a significant working width by employing two mounted machines. The technical solution of the carrier makes it possible to form an aggregation with the working width of 8 or 10 m. Within the sys-tem solution of the OPaLL-AGRI s.r.o., the SATURN III combined cultivator or Pegas disc harrows can be hung on the chassis. The big advantage is that the use one chassis for both types of machines means considerable cost savings. The carrier can also be mounted to machines from other producers if their technical characteristics allow for that.

The MERKUR III tine cultivator is designed for tillage after the harvest of cereals and preparation for sowing catch crops. It is also suitable for harvesting sugar beet, maize and pre-crop when there is not enough time for conven-tional tillage. After harvesting, it is used for breaking, ploughing in manure, straw, green manure and for furrow-ing as well as for deep loosening. The robust support frame carries arrow ploughshares secured with a shear bolt for soil without stones, or spring system for rocky land, mixing and turning discs and the tubular support roller. The cultivator design provides a large space between the tines, thereby preventing clogging even while processing residues of straw from maize and catch crops. TI
