¿QUÉ ES UN GLOBAL GAME JAM?
Un Game Jam es un evento en el que todos los participantes, por
grupos o individualmente, competirán y colaborarán para crear
un videojuego en 48 horas.
Lo importante es la colaboración, conocer gente con tus mismas
ganas.
La organización del Global Game Jam es un evento mundial en el
que participan cientos de ciudades de todo el mundo, todos a la
vez y con un tema común, que se revelará el día Viernes 29 de
Enero a las 17h.
HISTORIA
El Global Game Jam Se fundo en 2008, y el primer global game Jam fue en
el 2009 con 1600 personas en 23 países.
El Global Game Jam es una idea original de Susan Oro en colaboración con
Gorm Lai y Ian Schreiber.
Inspirado en Indie Game Jam, Ludum Dare y Nordic Game Jam. Desde
2009-2012, el evento fue supervisado por la Asociación Internacional de
Desarrolladores de Juegos (IGDA). Establecido como una sin fines de
lucro internacional, Global Game Jam, Inc. ha logrado el evento desde
GGJ 2013.
La organización cuenta con un IRS 501c3 designación caritativo y tiene su
sede en San Luis Obispo, California.

- Week of January 29, 2016: GGJ 2015 starts worldwide.
