masalah nyata bersifat dinamis, senantiasa cepat berubah. Performansi clari algoritma
walaupun perubahan tersebut sangat kec i l .
umum, t idak bersifat domain-spesijic.
Ist i lah hyper-heuristics mengacu pada heuris!ic
to chooseheurisric [BUR03a). Pembangunan metode in i dimotivasi oleh kebutuhan
Teknik in i melakukan
seclang berkembang saat in i adalah multi agent system. 1\1ulti agent system senclir i

2.2.1 Masalah Penjadwalan Mesin
beberapa constraint. Contoh constraint d i antaranya seperti urutan sub-job,
keterbatasan resource (waktu proses mesin, kemampuan tenaga ke1:ia. j urnlah material,
dan sebagainya).

2 . Fhmshop ,\'ched11/ing
masuk antr ian mesin i+ 1. Persoalannya adalah mencari urutan job rnana yang
harus d iproses terleb ih dulu sehingga tujuan akhi r tercapa i . Sebagai contoh,
Fmjp(ij)=p( l ,j)ICmax mendefinisi kan konfigurasi fl011·shop d i mana setiap job
min imasi total waktu penyel esaian.

3. Jobshop Scheduling
Sama seperti flowshop scheduling. tetapi urutan penge1jaan job pada setiap
mesin dapat berbeda. Sebagai contoh, Jmldj!Cmax mendefinisikan sebuah
konfigurasi jobshop di mana sernua j ob rnemi l iki due date dengan tuj uan
min imasi mokespan.
4. Openshop Scheduling
Sama seperti flowshop scheduling dcngan tujuan mcncari urutan optimal setiap
n buah j ob. Sebagai contoh. 03/prntn.1: j i(Crnax+Lmax) menclefinis ikan

Teknik heuri st ik rancangan para ahl i
framework. Beberapa d i antaranya adalah sebagai berikut:
1 . MRT (Minimum Release Time): p i l i h job yang berada pal ing mval pacla antrian.
d i implementasikan [BLA82J .
! SPT (Shor!esr Processing Time): p i l ih job dengan \vaktu pemrosesan pal i ng
pcndck. Atman in i b iasa d igunakan sebagai benchmark u11tuk 111emiuimalkan
rata-rata/hm time clan persentasi keterlambatan penyelesaian job [JA YOO].
3. LPT (Longesr Processing Time): keba l ikan clari SPT. tekn ik in i memi l i h job
clengan waktu pemrosesan job yang pal ing lama.
4. EDD (Earliest Due Date): p i l i h job dengan batas \vaktu penyelesaian yang
pal ing cepat. Aturan i n i rnerupakan aturan berdasarkan n i la i due date yang
pal ing banyak d igunakan. Aturan ini d igunakan sebagai benchmark untuk
mcngur;mgi n i la i maks imum clan vari an keterlarnbata11 [JA YUU].
5. I DD (!.otesr Due Dote): kcbal ikan dari EDD. teknik in i memi l i h job dengan
batas vvaktu penye lcsa ian yang pal ing lama.
job berdasarkan rasio [iv10N69): 11 P; L1=1 P1-ll;
2.2.2.2 .Jcnis-jcnis Dispatching Rules
Pada saat sebuah mes i n kosong. job dengan prioritas tertinggi dalam antrian d ip i l i h
untuk selanjutnya d iproscs pada mesin . S imple Priority Rules (SPR) d ibangun
berdasarkan sebuah fungsi objekti r tunggal . SPR biasanya hanya mclibatkan sebuah
parameter model . seperti \Vaktu pemrosesan. due date. jumlah operasi atau waktu
kedatangan job. Shortest Processing Time (SPT) adalah salah satu contoh dari SPR.
Dengan S PT, keti ka sebuah me s in kosong. job clengan waktu pemrosesan pal ing pendek
SPT rnemin imalkan n i lai rata
rata .flow time clan jumlah job yang terlambat [OLI97] . Contoh la in dari SPR adalah
aturan Earl i est Due Date (EDD). Aturan i n i memproses job dengan due date yang
pali ng awal terlebih dahulu .
Walaupun sederhana, SPR memi l ik i perfonnansi yang kurang bai k terhadap
berbagai ukuran perfonnansi seperti keterlambatan atau flow t ime. Untuk mengatasi
persoalan in i , d ibentuklah Composi te D ispatching Rules (CDR) yang rnengkom-
7
binasikan keunggulan dari beberapa SPR. Composite d ispatching rules (CDR)
1111.
2.2.3 Hyper-heuristics
Pacla umumnya. teknik heuhstik merupakan hasi l ke1ja bertahun-tahun o leh para ahl i
d i biclangnya.
Ha l in i
[Bl.RlOJ.
Pcmanfoatan teknik meta-heuristic, seperti algoritma genet ik . sinmlated
masalah penjadwalan. Metode-metode in i dapat rnemberikan solusi yang baik, tetapi
meta-heuristic. Teknik in i beke1ja secara l angsung dengan rnel akukan pencarian urutan
j ob yang menghas i lkan pencapaian perfonnansi terbaik.

performansi seperti jum lah rata-rata keterlambatan penyelesaian job, panjang bas i l

Teknik hyper-heuristics sangat berbeda clengan meta-heuristic yang melakukan
pencariannya langsung pacla ruang solus i .
level general i tas dari teknik in i . Teknik hyper-heuristics telah berhasi l d iapl ikas ikan
pada persoalan b in-packing [ROS03 , BUR06b] , penj adwalan personel [BUR03b,
COWOl ] , penj adwalan pelajaran [ASM06, BUR06a, BUR07a] , penj adwalan produksi
[V AZ07a] , persoalan rute kendaraan [ROP06], persoalan cutting stock [TER05] , dan
9
lainnya [BUR07b].
ROP06) .

Garnbar 2 . 2 mcngi lustrasikan cara kc1ja teknik genetic algori thm h) pcr
hcur i s t ics .
(Shortest Processing Time) clan h2 yang adalah LPT ( Longest Process ing Time). Baris
terakhir menyatakan urutan pemroscsan j ob berdasarkan kcputusan hcuristik ya11g
digunakan pada kasus i n i adalah h 1 (SPT). Hal in i mengakibatkan job dengan waktu
1 0
manapun.
Teknik genetic algorithm hyper-heuristics memerlukan koleksi lmv level
heur is t ik yang beragam clalam pemrosesannya.
Hal in i sangat memuclahkan karena proses
pembentukan aturan heur i st ik cl ibangun secara otomatis o leh program.
2.2.4 Multi-Agent System (MAS)

perangkat lunak.
yang bersifat tercl istribusi clan terbuka, seperti i niernet .
Karakterist ik dari MAS adalah f.JS W98]:
• Informasi bers i fat t idak lengkap yaitu setiap agen hanya mcmpunyai sebagian
informasi dan mempunyai kernampuan yang terbatas
• Pengendal i an s istem secara terdistribusi
• Pengelolaan data secara terpusat
• Komputasi d i l akukan secara asinkron

Pohon sintaks in i rnerepresentasikan program yang

So lusi direpresentasikan dalam bentuk program

in i selaku algorithm ogenl). Hal in i tidak sejalan dengan hipotesis awal yang
menganggap babwa masing-masing low level heuristic memil ik i kelebibannya masing
masing.
Ta.be! 5 . 5 merangkum basil dari
pcrcobaan ketiga.
