What is SharePoint Workspace?(2)
• Microsoft SharePoint Workspace 2010 allows you to access your SharePoint content whether or not you are connected to the SharePoint server or working offline.

• Product's Compatibility-
Microsoft Groove and Microsoft SharePoint are Microsoft's products,so when there is a product that is not Microsoft's product then that product can not be used.
• Paid-
Microsoft Groove and Microsoft SharePoint require licence for usage.Compared to Google Docs & Spreadsheets,some kind of people ,like students,have not enough money to pay for it.
Microsoft Groove & Microsoft SharePoint-(2)
• Convenience-
Microsoft Groove & Microsoft SharePoint are not like Google Docs & Spreadsheets that works on internet's interface,they have to be installed in computer to be used.So when you want to work,you have to find a computer that has already installed the program.
• Update-
When Microsoft releases new version,it would not automatically updated,you can only manual update by yourself .

Although Google Docs & Spreadsheets is free and very convenience but Google Docs & Spreadsheets's security is not safer than Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Groove.
• Same time working-

Before: Manager must rely on assistant to product statistical reports(every manager's view point is different) Now: manager can set.check and adjust data from ERP system's immediate information.
Third reason
By Sharepoint's information security database system can automatically detect, collect all kinds of safety informatuons, then automatically publish security notice to relevant staff. The staff can doing analyzsis,correct,test and report the problem online.
Fourth reason
To reduce data access time. Before: Use keyword to search, but the data lack the accuraacy and effectiveness.It's waste alot of time to filter data. Now: Use metadata(中繼資料 )to insert logo text company needs, it's simplify the data for future inquires and search.
