Installing

the RefGrab-It

Bookmarklet

RefGrab-It enables you to capture bibliographic

information from Web pages

You will need to download

RefGrab-It from the ‘Tools’

menu in RefWorks

Once installed, you can

import data from Web pages

(not PDFs) into your

RefWorks account

RefGrab-It is available in two versions…..

……downloadable

plug-ins for

Internet Explorer

or Firefox or…..

.…a bookmarklet

that works with

either Internet

Explorer or

Firefox

This guide explains how to

install the RefGrab-It

bookmarklet for Firefox

(Windows Users).

Instructions for other

browsers, MACs and plug-ins

are available under ‘Install

information’

To install the RefGrab-It bookmarklet

for Firefox….

….Right click on

RefGrab-It……

…and select

‘Bookmark this

link’

Then…..

From the ‘Folder’

drop-down menu,

choose

‘Bookmarks

Toolbar’ and

‘Save’

The RefGrab-It bookmarklet will appear in

the bookmarks area of the Firefox toolbar

You are now ready to start

using RefGrab-It. See ‘Using

information.
