• Payment Cards team – 4 staff

• GPC and Fuel Card frameworks

• GPC – annual spend of £500m+ with 70,000+ cards, 500+ programmes

• Six issuing banks

• Fuel Card – 3 frameworks – annual spend approx. £180m with 100,000 + cards, 1500+ programmes

• Developments withIN GPC include:– Implementation manager– Free back office software solution– User Group 18th October London

• Developments within Fuel Cards include:– Carbon foot-printing– Enhanced on-line reporting

• Put in place a range of frameworks to cover the following:– Merchant Acquiring– Debit/Pre-paid cards– Other forms of card related payment solutions

• Use our experience/knowledge gained on GPC and Fuel Cards and the working relationships we have with the suppliers

• Need stakeholders– Early adopters– Knowledge

Hence “CLUBBING TOGETHER”

• OJEU placed

• Currently in PQQ stage

• Held meetings with various individual parties

The Future

• Intention to issue ITT on Merchant Acquiring in the next 4~6 weeks

• Remaining ITTs in early 2007, depending upon stakeholder involvement
