Bicycle regulation has been revised and enforced since June 1, 2015. Bicycle has been considered as small vehicle, so the same regulation for small vehicle is also effected to bicycle. Bicycle rider will be warned by police officer if he/she avoided the rule. If he/she did the same twice within three years, he/she will be forced to take the bicycle riding lesson for three hours and pay for the lesson fee for 5,700 yen.
