Overview:This trek known also as the small Annapurna Circuit is a very popular one in Nepal. The
highest point of this trek (3200 mtrs) and for many the highlight is an early morning
pilgrimage to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas where the
mountains stretch as far as the eye can see North towards Tibet West towards the
Dhaulagiri Himal and East with superb views of the Annapurna Himal. Not a difficult trek
but it helps if you have a reasonable degree of fitness. This trek is considered to be the
best introduction to trekking with some spectacular views.
Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu: you will be met by our representative and
transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle and briefed about your trekking programand the equipment’s you will require during the trekking period and other important
aspects related to trekking. In the late afternoon visit swoyambhunath or monkey
temple to have a spectacular bird’s eye view of Kathmandu and on a clear wintry day
you can see beautiful mountain views of the Ganesh Himal.Swoyambhunath: Perched atop a hill on the western edge of the Kathmandu Valley, the ancient
Swayambunath Stupa (known to tourists as the Monkey Temple) is most important

Buddhist shrine. The sleepy, all-seeing Buddha eyes that stare out from the top have
become the quintessential symbol of Nepal. When this temple was founded about
2,000 years ago; Kathmandu Valley was filled with a great lake. According to Buddhist
legend, a single perfect lotus grew in the center of the lake. When the bodhisattva
Manjushree drained the lake with a slash of his sword, the lotus flower settled on top of
the hill and magically transformed into the stupa. Thus it is known as the Self-Created(Swayambhu) Stupa.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar
Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back
to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban
focal point of the Capital City. The Palace Complex was the royal Nepalese residence
until the 19th century and is the site of important ceremonies, such as the coronation of
the Nepalese monarch. The palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden
windows and panels and it houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and the
Mahendra Museum.
Day 02:Drive Kathmandu - Pokhara: (200km / 6 hrs.)
Today after breakfast you drive west to Pokhara. The drive will take you around six hours
and on the way you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and rural villages of Nepal, and
you drive along the course of Trisuli River you can also have views of people rafting on
the Trisuli River. On reaching Pokhara you can enjoy lunch in one of the finest restaurant
in lakeside and then check in to your hotel in Lakeside. The rest of the day is at your
leisure and you can do anything of your interest. Overnight in Hotel Pokhara
Day 03:
Drive to NayaPul and trek to TikheDhunga / Ulleri (1495m):
After breakfast you drive to NayaPul which means new bridge in Nepali in a privatevehicle which is 42 kms and start trekking to TikheDhunga. On the way you pass through
Birethanti and you can have great views of the pastures and bamboo forests and
water falls and springs, you have lunch in Ramghai and after trekking for about 4 hours
you reach TikheDhunga. Overnight in Guest House.
Day 04:
Trek from TikheDhunga to Ghorepani(2850m):
After breakfast you start trek and the trail takes you through beautiful pastures and
cultivated fields and you pass through a large Magar village called Ulleri at 2080m. You
stop in Nangethanti for lunch and slowly trek towards Ghorepani after Nagethati you
will walk through beautiful mixed forests with colorful rhododendron flowers. Ghorepaniin Nepali means water drinking spot for horses and this was the popular spot for pony
caravans. You reach Ghorepani after trekking for around six hours and from here you
can enjoy the spectacular views of Dhaulagiri I (8091m), Hiunchuli(6441m) and Tarke
Kang(7193m). Overnight at guest house.
Day 05:
Ghorepani(2850m) to Poon Hill(3180m) and Trek to Tadapani(2520m):
Early in the morning you take a side trip hiking to Poon Hills from where you can enjoy

the majestic views of the Himalayas and sunrise. After spending about an hour you trek
back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani. In the beginning the trail
goes slimly up along rhododendron forest after an hours walk you will see close view of
Annapurna south which is a very beautiful mountain .After an hours walk the trail goes
down through forest then you reach Deurali (2960m) passing through beautiful pine and
Rhododendron forests and then trek to Banthanti where you will have lunch and thenstart trek to Tadapani. Tadapani is between beautiful nature from the hotel you will
enjoy very beautiful view of Machhapuchre (Fish tail) a holy mountain overnight stay at
Tadapani this evening you will enjoy with local people with welcome music and dance
which is arranged by mother community of local village people.
Day 06:
Trek from Tadapanito Ghanndruk :
It takes about five hours. It is very easy trek by descending gently all the way through
Rhododendron, Oak and other kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of
birds chirping on the way to Ghandruk, Ghandruk is one of the beautiful gurung village
Of Nepal from here you will see Annapurna South and Fishtail from a very close rangetonight stay in Guest house.
Day 07:
Gandruk to PokharaPokhara:
After breakfast we will walk along the Modi River which flows from Annapurna base
camp and continue walking through villages where you can see Nepalese rice fields
and terraced fields after around 4 hours we will arrive in Birethati where we have hot
lunch with fresh fish items from river. After lunch walk around 30 minutes to get to
Nayapul where our vehicle will be waiting for us and our trekking ends here with
beautiful memories. Now drive back to Pokhara enjoys dinner in one of the many
restaurants available in lakeside as per your choice. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08:
Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu:
In the late afternoon after Lunch you will fly back to Kathmandu in domestic airlines
enjoying the panoramic views of Annapurna and Langtang Himalaya ranges. The flight
takes about 25mins.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will visit the following places.Boudhanath :
Bouddhanath is among the largest stupas in south Asia, and it has become the focal point of
Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six meters overhead. The stupa is
located on the ancient trade route to Tibet, and Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers
here for many centuries. When refugees entered Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, many of them
decided to live around Bouddhanath. They established many gompas, and the "Little Tibet" of
Nepal was born.
Shopping: In the Late afternoon free time for shopping and personal activities and in the evening enjoy a
farewell dinner in a typical Nepali cultural restaurant with cultural dance.
