The Bible teaches that God is all light and glory. He is perfect in righteousness and purity. He is absolutely holy and without sin.

1John 1:5 …God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Isaiah 6:3b

"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory."

Luke 5:8

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!"

GOD Clothed us with His kind of Rigtheousness

We are not able so GOD Did it for Us

He does this by putting us IN CHRIST. The Bible says,

• We ourselves are not righteous, but God has put us IN CHRIST.

• When God looks at us, He does not see us as we are; HE SEES ONLY CHRIST.

• Because we are IN CHRIST, we have a perfect righteousness before God. CHRIST IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Now, Jesus is in us and we in Him

1John 4:13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

Colossians 1:27…the secret is that

Christ is in you, which means that you will share in the glory of God.

How do we know all these things?

Romans 15:4
