•Private & Guest house .•‘An experimental house’ .•Massing & cantilever - inspired by The Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright .•Persuaded clients to build their home over a stream .•Use of serpentine (a type of rock) for walls .•Concept applies free form of nature & symbol of freedom .•Curving, living, unpredictable line that form contrast in the modern world .•L-shape – distinguished between the separation of private/public accomodation .
